Risk: Rearview camera failure can reduce the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025-2026 F-550 SD, F-450 SD, F-350 SD, F-250 SD, and 2025 F-150 vehicles. The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) may fail at startup.

Risk: An instrument panel display that does not show critical information, such as warning lights or vehicle speed, increases the risk of a crash.

FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Bronco, Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, F-550 SD, 2021-2022 Lincoln Navigator, Mustang, F-150, and 2022 Expedition vehicles. The low-pressure fuel pump may fail, which can result in an engine stall while driving.

Risk: An engine stall increases the risk of a crash.

VISIBILITY:POWER WINDOW DEVICES AND CONTROLS

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023 Super Duty F-250 and F-350 vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 23V-507. The driver and front passenger windows may fail to detect an obstacle while closing and not reverse direction as intended.

Risk: A window that does not automatically reverse when an obstruction is encountered increases the risk of injury.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INTEGRATED TRAILER BRAKE CONTROL

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2022 F-150, 2022 Maverick, Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 22V-193. Due to a software error, a towed trailer equipped with an electric or electric-over hydraulic brake system may not brake.

Risk: Loss of trailer brake functionality can extend the distance required to stop, increasing the risk of a crash.

SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:PEDALS AND LINKAGES

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025 F-550 SD, F-450 SD, F-350 SD, and F-250 SD vehicles. The brake booster pushrod retaining spring may not have been installed, which can allow the pushrod to disconnect from the brake pedal and cause a sudden loss of brake function. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems" and 105, "Hydraulic and electric brake systems."

Risk: A sudden loss of brake function increases the risk of a crash.

The rearview camera may display a distorted, inverted, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse.

Risk: A rearview camera that displays an inverted, distorted, or blank image can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023 F-Super Duty F-250, F-350, and F-450 vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 23V-573. The default rearview camera image may not be displayed when using the Pro Trailer Hitch Assist feature.

Risk: An incorrect rearview camera image can reduce the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Bronco, F-150, 2021-2024 Edge, 2022-2025 Escape, F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, F-600, 2022-2024 Expedition, 2022-2025 Transit, 2021-2023 Mach-E, 2024 Ranger, Mustang, 2021-2023 Lincoln Nautilus, 2022-2024 Navigator, and 2023-2024 Corsair vehicles. A software error may cause the rearview camera image to delay, freeze, or not display when the vehicle is in reverse.

Risk: A frozen or missing rearview camera image can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

STRUCTURE:BODY

The front doors come open while driving down the road in cold weather. Multiple dealerships have to me to just deal with it. My children have to hold the doors shut while we are going down the road or I have to hold the driver's door shut while driving. There was a recall issued for certain 2023 F-350's regarding a door latch mechanism malfunction but apparently it doesn't apply to my pickup even though me doors don't stay shut while driving and multiple dealerships tell me there is nothing, they can do to fix it. When one of us gets hurt, falls off, or has a door hit by oncoming traffic, what am I supposed to do? The safety of my children does not matter to Ford motor company or their Montana dealerships. It happens regularly, not just once. Speed is not a factor, I can be driving 5 mph or 75 mph when it happens.

FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE

The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-350. The contact stated that while stopped at a traffic signal with his foot on the brake pedal, the vehicle suddenly accelerated as if he had applied the accelerator. The contact stated that his vehicle front end crashed into the rear end of the vehicle. The contact stated that he turned the vehicle off to stop it from continuing to gain forward momentum. The contact stated that he was able to restart the vehicle and pulled over. The contact stated that his lower front bumper was dented and had scratches. The contact stated that the vehicle he had crashed into had damage to the tail gate and rear bumper. The contact stated that no one was injured and both vehicles were able to drive away. The police were not called. The contact stated that prior to the crash the vehicle was having multiple electrical failures and numerous warning lights had illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the transmission needed to be rebuilt. The vehicle repaired, however the contact stated that he was still having warning lights and that the vehicle was shifting roughly from park (P) to drive (D) or from park (P) to reverse (R). Additionally, the contact stated that the accelerator pedal was failing to respond when he applied the pedal. The contact had taken the vehicle back to the same dealer who replaced the battery junction box. The contact stated that the dealer had replaced the battery junction box according to a manufacturer technical service bulletin number 23-2133 (Electrical System). The contact stated that prior to the crash, again the accelerator pedal failed to respond when he applied the pedal. The contact stated that he had used a hand held scanner and was getting codes for electrical system failures, ignition cylinder codes, ABS faults, Body Control Module throttle control codes. The adhesive for the rear sliding window is failing and as a result this window is about to come off.

ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING

The contact owns a 2023 Ford F-350. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the oil change warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle received an oil change; however, the oil change warning light remained illuminated. The contact stated that occasionally the oil change warning light was illuminated whenever the vehicle was started. The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times and the sensor was reset. In addition, the contact was informed that an unknown module needed to be reprogrammed; however, the parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 17,000.

Fan Clutch Failure at 34,000 Miles, new clutch installed, fan clutch failure again at 47,000 miles. Causes unpredictable accelerations, delayed reaction and poor driveability. Ford did not honor warranty for first fan clutch as when they could service it, the truck was over 36,000 miles. No warning lights or other indicators, extreme engine noise when driving.
