Notification and repairs began in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
- Roof rack fastener issue. Recall 18V274000 covers 293 vehicles from 2018 for the Travato and similar models. The roof rack may lack correct fasteners and could detach while moving, risking road hazards and crashes. Dealers will add screws adjacent to rivets at no cost. The recall started in May 2018.
- Fire extinguisher malfunction. Recall 17V782000 affects 17,360 vehicles from multiple model years including the 2018 Travato. Certain Kidde plastic-handle fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to operate. The nozzle may also detach, potentially causing injury and making the extinguisher unusable during a fire. Owners will be instructed to contact Kidde for free replacement extinguishers. Risk: If solar panels are connected and they exceed the amperage capacity of the circuit, the unprotected circuit can increase the risk of a fire.

(Winnebago) is recalling certain 2013-2018 Winnebago Era, Travato, Minnie Winnie, Fuse, View, Trend, Aspect, Brave, Vista, Sightseer, Adventurer, Forza, Journey, Tour, Revel, Paseo, Chalet, Access, and Intent motorhomes and Commercial vehicles, and 2013-2018 Itasca Spirit, Navion, Cambria, Tribute, Sunstar, Sunova, Suncruiser, Solei, Meridian, Elipse, Horizon, Reyo, and Via motorhomes. These vehicles are equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' fire extinguishers that may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable.
