  • Roof luggage rack brackets. NHTSA recall 18V132000 covers 101 units. The roof luggage rack mounting brackets may crack, causing the luggage rack to detach and increase crash risk. The fix involves replacing the mounting brackets and adding a metal L bracket at no charge.

  • Fire extinguishers. NHTSA recall 17V782000 affects 17,360 vehicles. Kidde fire extinguishers may clog or require excessive force to activate, potentially failing during a fire or detaching the nozzle causing injury. Owners will be instructed to contact Kidde for free replacement extinguishers.

Owners dealing with repeated repairs, unresolved recall repairs, or safety defects should review their rights under state lemon laws. Consulting with a qualified attorney may help clarify options available for vehicles with ongoing issues or multiple recalls.
