  • Front axle hubs. (16V634000) 156 vehicles affected. Front axle hubs may fail due to weight limits exceeding hub capacity, potentially causing wheel separation and increasing crash risk. Dealers will replace hubs free of charge.
  • Battery cable. (17V588000) 32 vehicles affected. Battery cable may chafe by contacting the all wheel drive axle yoke, creating a short circuit and fire risk. Dealers will inspect and repair cables as needed free of charge.
  • Brake light pressure switch. (17V761000) 438,255 vehicles affected. After hard braking, the pressure switch may fail to illuminate brake lights on light pedal application, removing signals to motorists and raising crash risk. Dealers will repair the brake light system free of charge.
  • Air brake reservoir capacity. (19V370000) 741 vehicles affected. Insufficient air reservoir volume may reduce brake effectiveness, increasing crash risk. Dealers will add air reservoir capacity free of charge.
  • Kidde fire extinguishers (disposable). (15V182000) 2,226 vehicles affected. Certain extinguishers may fail to discharge properly when the lever is repeatedly pressed, increasing injury risk during fires. Owners can obtain free replacements from Kidde or authorized repair facilities.
  • Kidde plastic-handle fire extinguishers. (17V810000) 24,860 vehicles affected. Fire extinguishers may clog or require excessive force to activate. Nozzle detachment may cause injury and render the extinguisher inoperable, elevating fire risks. Owners are instructed to contact Kidde for free replacement extinguishers.
