Dealers will inspect and replace affected rims free of charge. Notification began November 2013.
  • Wheel spokes and rims. Recall 22V431000 covers 3,250 motorcycles from model years 2012 to 2017. Improperly tightened wheel spokes can damage rims or cause wheel lock-up, raising crash risk. Dealers will replace wheel rims, spokes, tubes, and rim strips at no cost. Owner letters were sent starting August 17, 2022. Rims replaced under prior recalls or warranty are excluded.

Risk: Damaged rims or a wheel lock-up can increase the risk of a crash.
