Recalls- Aluminum rims defect. Recall 13V507000 affects 273 motorcycles produced between June 2, 2012, and October 25, 2012. Aluminum rims manufactured in April 2012 were improperly heat treated, which can cause cracking, splitting, or breaking. This rim failure may lead to wheel lock-up and increase crash risk. Dealers will inspect and replace affected rims free of charge. Notification began November 2013.
- Wheel spokes and rims. Recall 22V431000 covers 3,250 motorcycles from model years 2012 to 2017. Improperly tightened wheel spokes can damage rims or cause wheel lock-up, raising crash risk. Dealers will replace wheel rims, spokes, tubes, and rim strips at no cost. Owner letters were sent starting August 17, 2022. Rims replaced under prior recalls or warranty are excluded.

Irbit Motorworks of America, Inc. (Irbit) is recalling certain 2012-2017 Ural Gear Up, Ural Patrol (T), Ural Retro, 2012-2015 Ural Tourist (T), and 2015-2017 Ural cT motorcycles. The wheel spokes may have been improperly tightened, which can damage the rims or cause a wheel lock-up.
Risk: Damaged rims or a wheel lock-up can increase the risk of a crash.
