Recalls- Vehicle speed control and brake lights. Recall 12V574000 affects 727 vehicles built from May 17, 2010, through October 30, 2012. Diode jumpers may come loose in connectors, causing an open circuit that disables cruise control disengagement and brake light illumination. This raises crash risk. Daimler Trucks will inspect and repair at Freightliner dealers. No "Do Not Drive" advisory issued.
- Electrical system. Same recall 12V574000 applies here to 727 vehicles with diode jumper issues disrupting cruise control and brake light circuits, increasing crash potential. Daimler Trucks will fix by verifying connections in the electrical system.
- Awning equipment. Recall 13V164000 affects 427 vehicles manufactured between February 13 and April 9, 2013. An improper awning installation sequence may damage the motor, allowing the awning to unfurl unexpectedly while parked or in motion. Owners are advised not to drive until repaired. Thor and Dometic will replace affected motors.
- Windshield wiper system. Recall 18V705000 involves 2,854 motorhomes including the 2013 Palazzo. Incorrect wiper installation may cause failure during use, reducing visibility and increasing crash risk. Dealers will inspect and repair or replace the wiper system as needed free of charge.
- Fire extinguisher equipment. Recall 17V758000 covers 110,400 Thor vehicles from 2003-2018 with Kidde plastic-handle fire extinguishers. The extinguishers may clog or require excessive force, and nozzles might detach causing injury and inoperability. Owners will receive replacement units from Kidde at no cost.

EQUIPMENT
Thor Motor Coach (Thor) is recalling various 2003-2018 recreational vehicles, equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. See a list of the affected trailer models at: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17V758-5764.pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. For a full list of the affected fire extinguisher models visit: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17E062-5427.pdf

If the awning installation sequence was not completely followed, the awning motor may unknowningly become damaged. A damaged motor may lead to an unfurling of the awning.
Risk: If motor damage occurs, it is possible that the awning can unfurl unexpectedly, either while the motorhome is at rest or while in transit, increasing the risk of personal injury or a vehicle crash.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Thor Motor Coach (Thor) is recalling certain model year 2011 through 2013 Tuscany, Astoria, Ultrasport, Montecito, and Palazzo recreational vehicles manufactured from May 17, 2010, through October 30, 2012, built on Freightliner brand XB and XC custom chassis. The vehicles are equipped with diode jumpers that may come loose in their connectors resulting in an open circuit. Two circuits are affected: The one that disengages the cruise control with brake pedal use, and the one that illuminates the brake lights with brake pedal use.
Risk: Failure of the cruise control to disengage when the brakes are applied may increase the risk of a vehicle crash. Without the brake lights illuminating when the brakes are applied, the driver's intent is not communicated, increasing the risk of a crash.
