2025 THOR MOTOR COACH MAGNITUDE
4251 vehicles affected
EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER
Thor Motor Company (TMC) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Axis, Chateau, Four Winds, 2023-2025 Coleman, Echelon, Freedom Elite, Geneva, Outlaw, Quantum, Vegas, 2025 Eddie Bauer, Freedom Traveler, Pasadena, and 2024-2025 Magnitude motorhomes. The slide-Out room can be deployed without the parking brake engaged, allowing the room to extend while the vehicle is in motion.
Risk: A slide-Out room that extends unexpectedly increases the risk of a crash.
2024 THOR MOTOR COACH MAGNITUDE
35 vehicles affected
STRUCTURE:EMERGENCY:ESCAPE/EGRESS/EXIT
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Omni and Magnitude motorcoaches. The emergency exit window could be blocked while outside griddle is in use.
Risk: A blocked emergency exit window can delay occupants exiting the vehicle during an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.
2022 THOR MOTOR COACH MAGNITUDE
3374 vehicles affected
EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER:LPG SYSTEMS:LINES AND FITTINGS
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2022 Scope, Tellaro, Sanctuary, Delano, Sequence, Tranquility, Rize, Synergy, Quantum, Magnitude, Geneva, Compass, Chateau, Four Winds, and 2022-2023 Tiburon, and Gemini vehicles. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may be cracked, causing a gas leak.
Risk: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
2020 THOR MOTOR COACH MAGNITUDE
731 vehicles affected
EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER:LPG SYSTEMS:LINES AND FITTINGS
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Omni and Magnitude motorhomes. The LP gas line may have been incorrectly routed through the rear suspension leaf springs, which could damage the line and cause a gas leak.
Risk: A gas leak increases the risk of a fire.
2023 THOR MOTOR COACH MAGNITUDE
69 vehicles affected
EQUIPMENT:OTHER:LABELS
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2023 Magnitude and Omni vehicles. The Occupant and Cargo Carrying Capacity (OCCC) Label states the incorrect number of seat belts, indicating that there are more seat belts available than there actually are. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars."
Risk: The incorrect seat belt information may result in occupants being transported without available seat belts, increasing their risk of injury.
2021 THOR MOTOR COACH MAGNITUDE
738 vehicles affected
EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER:LPG SYSTEMS:LINES AND FITTINGS
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling 2021-2022 Magnitude and Omni motorhomes. The LP gas line may have been incorrectly routed through the rear suspension leaf springs, which could damage the line and cause a gas leak.
Risk: A gas leak increases the risk of a fire.
2020 THOR MOTOR COACH MAGNITUDE
81 vehicles affected
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Magnitude, Omni motorhomes, models BB35 and BH35. Wires located in the electrical junction box may move around and contact an extra screw that was errantly installed.
Risk: Contact with the screw may result in the wiring insulation being damaged, increasing the risk of an electrical short circuit and a fire.
2020 THOR MOTOR COACH MAGNITUDE
229 vehicles affected
SEATS:FRONT ASSEMBLY:RECLINER
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Magnitude and Omni motorhomes. The seat recliner mechanisms may be missing the third pawl required for seat back strength, resulting in a loose seat back. These vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 202, "Head Restraints" and 207, "Seating Systems."
Risk: Improperly assembled recliner mechanism may have reduced strength and may not adequately restrain an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
2019 THOR MOTOR COACH MAGNITUDE
110 vehicles affected
VISIBILITY:REARVIEW MIRRORS/DEVICES
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2018 Thor Chateau and Four Winds motorhomes and 2019-2020 Magnitude and Omni motorhomes. The backup camera displays may revert back to the factory default settings which may cause the camera image to be reversed.
Risk: If the monitor displays the image in reverse, the driver may unintentionally turn in the wrong direction, increasing the risk of crash.
2019 THOR MOTOR COACH MAGNITUDE
1554 vehicles affected
EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Challenger, Miramar, Magnitude, Outlaw, Omni, and Palazzo motorhomes. The vehicle control system software may cause the slide-out room to move unexpectedly.
Risk: Unexpected movement of the slide-out room can increase the risk of a injury.

2022 THOR MOTOR COACH MAGNITUDE
ID: 2097240EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER
The primary issue involves the large, full-wall slide-out system on our motorhome. Since new, the front portion of the slide has shifted outward during travel, even while fully retracted. This led to the slide binding and becoming inoperable. The manufacturer attempted to fix the issue twice at their factory service center. Their most recent solution involved providing a makeshift brace—essentially a stick—intended to wedge the front of the slide in place during transit. Since then, the issue has progressed. The rear of the slide is now also moving outward during travel, causing the front brace to fall out. As a result, the front shifts again, and the slide continues to bind. This presents a serious safety risk. The slide can extend beyond the vehicle’s sidewall while in motion, increasing the chance of contact with nearby vehicles or objects. It also poses a structural integrity concern and could prevent safe egress in an emergency. There are no warning lights or error messages. The problem has been present since delivery, and has been inspected and documented by the manufacturer, but remains unresolved. The component is available for inspection upon request. This is a recurring and worsening failure affecting safety and basic function. Reports from other owners suggest this may be a broader design or manufacturing defect.
