Dorel Juvenile Group (Dorel) is recalling certain Safety 1st Grow & Go Sprint child seats. The included model numbers are CC321GYU, CC321GYUD, CC321GYY, CC321GYYD, CC321HAO, and CC321HAR. The headrest foam pad is not adequately secured, which can allow a child to pick off pieces of foam.
Risk: Pieces of foam can present a choking hazard to a child, increasing the risk of injury.

The contact owns a 2021 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that while installing the car seats in the rear of the vehicle, the contact became aware that the driver’s side and passenger’s side rear seat belts would loosen unintendedly while attempting to fasten the seat belts. The vehicle had not been taken to a dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 61,702.

Model # CC398GYU, purchased in April of 2024 needs to be included in the foam head rest recall because the foam is accessible by my toddler. The foam presents a choking hazard. It is not secure and the foam is exposed.

Head rest is stuck and doesn’t move up/down without forcing it. Also, the foam on the headrest comes apart easily and the cover doesn’t stay on right.
