ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2014-2018 Dodge Journey, Charger and Durango, RAM 2500, 3500, 3500 Cab Chassis (more than 10,000lb), 4500 Cab Chassis and 5500 Cab Chassis, Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokee and Chrysler 300, 2014-2019 RAM 1500, 2015-2018 Dodge Challenger, 2015-2017 Chrysler 200, 2016-2018 RAM 3500 Cab Chassis (less than 10,000 lb), 2017-2018 Chrysler Pacifica and 2018 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. These vehicles are being recalled to address a defect that could prevent the cruise control system from disengaging. If, when using cruise control, there is a short circuit within the vehicle's wiring, the driver may not be able to shut off the cruise control either by depressing the brake pedal or manually turning the system off once it has been engaged, resulting in either the vehicle maintaining its current speed or possibly accelerating.

Risk: If the vehicle maintains its speed or accelerates despite attempts to deactivate the cruise control, there would be an increased risk of a crash.

2015 RAM 1500

1482874 vehicles affected

17V821000

POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:LEVER AND LINKAGE:COLUMN SHIFT

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2016-2017 Ram 3500 Cab Chassis with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of less than 10,000 lbs, 2011-2017 Ram 3500, 4500 and 5500 Cab Chassis vehicles, 2009-2017 Ram 1500 and 2010-2017 Ram 2500 and 3500 pickup trucks, all equipped with a column shifter. Pushing the brake pedal for prolonged periods when the vehicle is running and in PARK may cause the Brake Transmission Shift Interlock (BTSI) pin to stick in the open position. With the pin in the open position, the transmission can be shifted out of PARK into any gear without pushing the brake pedal or having the key in the ignition.

Risk: Being able to shift the transmission without pushing the brake pedal and/or without a key in the ignition can increase the risk of an unintended vehicle rollaway that may result in personal injury or a crash.

2015 RAM 1500

1021279 vehicles affected

17V302000

AIR BAGS

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2013-2016 Ram 1500, Ram 2500, and 2014-2016 Ram 3500 vehicles. Certain driving conditions, such as driving off-road or debris striking the vehicle may cause the roll rate sensor to trigger a fault within the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC). If this fault occurs, the rollover side curtain air bag and the seat belt pretensioner will be disabled from deploying.

Risk: If the rollover side curtain air bags and seat belt pretensioners are disabled, there is an increased risk of injury to the vehicle occupants in the event of a crash that necessitates activation of these safety systems.

2015 RAM 1500

61791 vehicles affected

Risk: If the rear axle shaft was not properly heated treated, it may fracture and a wheel separation could occur, increasing the risk of a crash.

2015 RAM 1500

188047 vehicles affected

15V534000

AIR BAGS:SIDE/WINDOW

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Ram 1500 Quad Cab trucks manufactured August 26, 2013, to August 8, 2015. The affected vehicles are equipped with side air bag inflatable curtains (SABIC) that may not fully overlap the C-pillars in the event of a vehicle crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 226, "Ejection Mitigation."

Risk: In the event of a vehicle crash, if a SABIC does not inflate as intended, there is an increased risk of injury to the rear seat occupant.

2015 RAM 1500

1655 vehicles affected

15V517000

ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:DIESEL

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Ram 1500 diesel 4x2 trucks manufactured August 8, 2013, to July 2, 2015. The affected vehicles have a battery harness that may rub against the frame bracket for the right engine mount resulting in an electrical short.

Risk: If the harness shorts, the vehicle may stall and there is an increased risk of a fire.

2015 RAM 1500

667441 vehicles affected

15V460000

AIR BAGS:SIDE/WINDOW

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks manufactured June 20, 2012, to January 26, 2015. In the affected vehicles, the side impact sensor calibrations may be overly sensitive, and as a result, the side air bag inflatable curtains and seat air bags may unexpectedly deploy and the seat belt pre-tensioners may activate.

Risk: Air bags that unexpectedly deploy increase the risk of a crash or injury.

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL

I am experiencing ABS issues on my truck. After visiting a local auto parts store to get an OBD scan, the code says it’s a bad ABS module. I called the dealership to share this information and they confirmed the code from the auto parts store is a bad ABS module. They said “oh no, you got that code huh? You’re not the only one.” The reason for my visit was because three lights were illuminated on my dash. The ABS light, the traction control light, and the BRAKE (trailer brake) light. The messages on the dash display say to service the ABS system, service the electronic braking system, and service the trailer brake system. From my research, I have discovered that many people are experiencing this same issue on similar vehicles . So much in fact that the parts for repair are unavailable at the dealership and online warehouses. The cruise control is disabled while experiencing this issue and braking performance is affected while driving. I’m afraid that my brakes will lock up on me in a hard stop event and lead to an incident.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

For my truck a 2015 Ram 1500 there is a known issue where the ABS module fails and won't allow the driver to use ABS. It's ubiquitous and Chrysler isn't manufacturing or supplying the ABS module anymore. I was told by the Dealer that I should "just buy a new truck" if I want anti-lock breaks. I have children, this is unacceptable. I'm on a wait list for the part now for over 2 years and I'm told that I may or may not actually ever get the part indicating, again, that I should buy a new one for safe braking. Apparently I am one of 100's of people on a list and Ram just recalled 1.5 million trucks with the same issue but not my year range of truck.... Part no: 68228991ad

STEERING

the electronic power steering went out while operating the pick up on a city street and I was unable to steer the vehicle which created a safety issue for the pedestrians and passengers. There were no warnings or messages indicating a problem prior to me losing steering capability. I pulled over but had to get the truck off the roadway so I drove without power steering to the repair shop. This ‘repair’ cost me $183. The repair shop said they checked for recalls with my VIN, but there wasn't anything so I paid for the repair and drove home. The very next day, the power steering went out while driving on a city street again. I took the pickup back to the dealership for further repair. In researching this issue, I noticed there was a previous recall on the 2015 and 2016 electronic power steering in the Ram trucks for this very reason. I was advised by the dealership that my VIN was not on the recall list. I also called the Ram recall center and they verified this to be true. I addition, I mailed multiple letters to the RAM complaint center but have never heard from them. I called the RAM complaint center and again was told my VIN wasn't on the recall. I expressed my concern regarding other VIN's that weren't on the recall but have experienced the safety concerns for the RAM drivers, passengers and any pedestrians or other drivers near the RAM with the issues.

No warning light was illuminated. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was inspected by a technician who provided the contact with the number for the vehicle manufacturer. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V632000 (AIR BAGS); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The failure mileage was 155,041.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM

On Friday, August 15, 2025, while leaving a grocery store, my wife pointed out that a part was hanging under my truck. After checking, I noticed that it was one of the two straps that supports the gas tank. It had dropped 3 inches from its original location and was only supported by one strap (the rear one). I temporarily attached the tank with a strap to secure it. At home, I checked the cause of this damage. I noticed that the area (the spacer on the frame, which has a "T"-shaped notch) where the tank strap is held (the end of the strap is "T"-shaped) is rotten, and the end of the strap has passed through. I didn't check the other attachment, but it could have the same problem because it's the same design. This part of the spacer is welded to the frame tightly and fills with dirt and water, causing corrosion.

I was driving and my truck lost all steering. I was in the middle of turning and I was unable to steer. I was almost rear ended and broad sided at the same time. Thank God the other drivers were paying attention. I spoke with my mechanic and he said that this was a common issue with my truck and this make and model. So I went online and looked and I have attached a screenshot of what I have found.

The issue started with ABS, Brake, and Traction Control lights coming on intermittently. Leventually they stayed on all the time. Cruise Control is disabled while these lights are on and the ABS system is obviously not working. The dealership stated that it was the ABS control module and states that the part is discontinued and they advised that they didn't have any more parts in stock in addition to quoting around 3k if they could find one at any other locations. All fuses are working properly. And all codes that are pulled indicate ABS system faults.

ABS Control Module which is under engineering review thru stellantis and unavailable for the last 2+ years, it affects the abs, trailer brake control and cruise control. It was diagnosed by marlette chrysler jeep dodge in michigan. It started by randomly applying brakes on a curve at slow speeds then according to the dealer completely failed causing cruise control failure, trailer brake control failure and obviously abs function. It was a sudden onset that lead to complete failure from first symptoms to complete failure within 2 days. I realize there is a certain recall on rams for the abs but from reading online the majority of us dont qualify for that recall even tho our vehicles are being affected by it and this needs to be addressed.

I was able to park the vehicle safely but no lights illuminate on the dash aside from the split-second the system malfunctions. The car does not show a code or anything for the issue and proceeds to show normal dash indicators while stationary except when you attempt to turn the wheel. This is EXTREMELY dangerous as if you do not catch the 0.5 second indicator flash you wouldn't see there is an issue with the power steering system. I believe my truck was impacted by the same issue that affected other 2015 Ram 1500's electric power steering that resulted in a recall. However mine was not included in the recall.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM

On July 2, 2021 my 2015 ecodiesel was given a software flash due to recall W58. This recall deals with the delamination of the tone wheel/CSPS and makes the vehicle rapidly lose acceleration. Instead of being an actual fix, the software simply put a band aid on the issue, by rerouting the tone wheel and sending to a different sensor. On [XXX] it was raining and when I tried to accelerate while in heavy city traffic, the truck lost acceleration rapidly and flashed service electronic throttle control and went into limp mode. I narrowly avoided being in a collision and limped the truck to a medical center parking lot (Koke Mill Medical in Springfield, IL). The truck wouldn't stay running and it wouldn't restart without great difficulty. I was able to limp it to a repair shop (Ruggless Automotive 3417 Constitution Dr, Springfield IL 62711 (217) 787-5484) I have a scanner and I scanned the truck and got code P0336 crankshaft position sensor. Ruggless Automotive ALSO got that code and got code P26AB (yet another recall issue with the EGR cooler recall VB1) Ruggless advised waiting for parts. Talked to Green Dodge about the issues, they didn't want to fix because out of warranty. I contacted FCA/Stellantis. I was given a case [XXX] and told to take to dealership for diagnostics and if diagnostics showed it was to do with the recall issues, that FCA would pay for repairs. Truck was towed BY ME to dealership July 3rd. Green Dodge called me and said they couldn't do any diagnostics because supposedly the battery was dead/bad/unable to be jump started. They tried to make me purchase a new battery from them or else they wouldn't do the diagnostics I need for FCA. I was able to limp the vehicle to a dodge dealership who informed me that the problem was in fact the EPS module that controls the power steering. I find this disheartening that they know this major problem exists and offer no solution or assistance. I see your office still has an open investigation into this issue. The electronic power steering component itself is failing. When turning the steering wheel one way the wheel will jerk the opposite direction and be very difficult to turn due to the power steering failing. An indicator light on the instrument panel comes on that states to service the steering control system and then shuts off by itself. This impacts the safety of all those in or around the vehicle when in motion due to steering becoming impossible or next to impossible to control. The vehicle has never been under water nor in the snow to cause any such damage. The problem is continuous and can be reproduced and inspected at any time supporting this claim. The factory has a recall in place for this year model and month range for when this truck was produced but my vin is not showing up as being part of the troubled load. It however does fit all of the criteria outlined by the manufacture and current issued recall.

While driving, I suddenly heard a loud metal on metal grinding noise. After getting off the road, other drivers stopped to report that there was a large "shower of sparks" coming from beneath my vehicle. Upon further inspection, I found that the forward fuel tank strap frame mount had completely corroded through. This resulted in the tank strap dislodging, and the front end of the fuel tank falling to just a few inches from the road. Meanwhile, the tank pushed the metal fuel strap against the vehicle's main drive shift, grinding away at the drive shaft like a metal lathe and creating the large shower of sparks directly next to the fuel tank. This was a known defect in the 2008 to 2012 models of this same truck that was the subject of recall. However, for my 2015 truck it is merely a "service bulletin" for the identical defect.

ABS system went out 3 years ago. The truck was still drivable and used extreme caution when doing so. This morning the power steering went out which is directly related to the ABS system. I noticed that a recall was issued for 2017 and beyond models of the Ram, but why not 2015. My truck has less than 100,000 miles and is now completely undriveable because the ABS cant be fixed.

I have a 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie that I've owned for just over a year. I have already had to replace the EPS rack and pinion once, due to losing all power steering while driving with my kids. I paid $1,800 for the rack and pinion with a limited warranty. The warranty is now up and I am having to buy another rack and pinion from $1,800-$2,500. When I was driving my kids to school, my steering wheel completely locked up and I could not control my vehicle. This has been an ongoing issue and my truck has been inoperable for three weeks. MOPAR is selling dangerous vehicle that are not road worthy that endanger not only my family's lives, but those also on the road. This issue needs fixed, because I am now paying for a vehicle that is unsafe and is putting me in financial hardship. The issue has been confirmed by a mechanic shop to be the EPS rack and pinion system. There was zero warning each time this has occurred, I just lost complete control of my vehicle without warning.

STEERING

The electric power steering has slowly become sluggish. At first I noticed the steering wheel was not returning to center after a turn and I would have to assist steering the truck back straight. This started maybe a month ago and being mechanically inclined I thought maybe it was an alignment issue (not enough caster possibly). Then as I left home this morning, out of the blue, the steering was very heavy with substantially less assist. It was difficult parking and even more sluggish returning to center from a turn requiring full hands on steering back to straight ahead. Looking the issue up on the Internet, I find a recall for this issue in 2016 on a small number of this model and now an new ongoing NHTSA investigation since August 2023. I am the third owner of this truck and it has had great care and is in generally fine condition for a 10 year old truck. I have already had to convert the truck back to coil spring suspension due to the air suspension system crapping out. I don't believe a steering system should give out at only 109,000 miles. I believe Stellantis should be held accountable for major system such as steering failing with such low mileage.

Issued I have had with this vehicle was the camshaft , started shaking and missfire as I was driving heard from other ram owners that this is a common issue on 3.6 ltr The other was an electrical wiring harness that's goes to the engine I have a knob gear shifter as I was driving vehicles. Switch to park and dashboard read something like stop vehicle and restart to shift gear . I thought I had moved it by accident . Next day drove from la, to thousands oaks . Trip started fine till I got to my destination by the grace of God I made it asoon as I parked it all the lights on my dashboard came on traction control throttle body automatic brakes crankshaft sensor and I forgot what else had it towed to LA to mechanic shop where it took them about 3 -4 weeks to pinpoint the issue the esults were the wires were melted and corroded you could see the green residue all along the wire harness. POWER TRAIN

On about [XXX], I was driving and my engine felt like it missed and my check engine light came on and a message appeared telling me to get remote throttle serviced. The truck began to drive badly and lack of acceleration made it difficult to maneuver in traffic. The truck was very difficult to start and unsafe to pull into traffic due to lagging ability to accelerate. I took it to a Firestone and they pulled the codes and said the crankshaft sensor and crank tone wheel had failed and needed replacing. I decided to take it to a RAM dealer in Franklin TN to confirm the diagnosis. After about a week, they confirmed and said crankshaft sensor and reluctor wheel needed to be replaced. I asked them if it would be covered under the recall (FCA W58) on the known defect of the crank tone wheel delaminating. When the recall occurred, I had the temporary solution of a computer flash done back in 2021, but the actual defective part was not replaced. They reported back to me that the cost of the repair would not be covered. They said my truck was too old, but the defect was discovered while my truck was still under warranty. Also, under a previous FCA lawsuit, they were made to pay truck owners money and extend their warranty. How can they get away with not having to rectify a known defect without fixing the problem? The computer flash simply allowed the vehicle to continue to operate, but it was by no means safe to operate on public streets in traffic. Will the NHTSA make FCA actually fix this problem? Thank you for your time. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

I have new brakes so the vehicle is safe to drive, but with the ABS module out, the cruise control does not work either. A new ABS module is impossible to find - dealers or independent shops cannot get one. Apparently, the part is on engineering hold. Reading various forums, this is a common and known Dodge failure with no foreseeable resolution. There are recalls and class action lawsuits, but not for my year / model. I can't get it fixed, I can't sell it with a known failed system and there is no timeline to resolve the problem. Not to mention the decreased safety with the ABS inoperative. This is completely unsatisfactory.

When turn the steering wheel feels like it doesnt want to turn and almost wont but then it will go back to normal buf then it will do it agian this happens 2 or 3 times during 1 turn. It happens in when turning in both directions but only on the turn on when wheel is turning back to stright. My safty and other drivers or pedestrians could be injured or be killed by this happing not being able to turn the truck where it is meant to be turned. I afraid that it is going to get worse and i may hit someone or something. There was no warning before, during, or after this happening had a OBD 2 tester hooked up to after it happened the 2 time and it showed nothing about anything relevant to this problem. The shop said that it could be a part failure or malfunction and quoted me $3500. I just bought the truck and knew i would have some problems to fix buying a used truck. But the motor and transmission were hood so i wasnt thi king there would be any really big expenses. Buf then this happened. I called the previous owner and asked if he had any problems similar to that and he said he did but only when it was cold after truck warmed up he wouldn’t notice it, but also said that he didn’t drive it much the last few months due to him having a new truck. He told me he first noticed it around September 2024.

POWER TRAIN

I am reporting a defective tone wheel on my 2015 RAM 1500 Pickup equipped with a 3.0L engine ("RAM") while accelerating into congested rush hour Interstate traffic. The RAM experienced an unexpected significant loss of power due to loss of crankshaft position. Subsequent inspection by the Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealership confirmed that the RAM suffered a loss of crankshaft position due to a missing section of the magnetic material attached to the tone wheel and that as many as 14 cracks in the magnetic material are visible. For an undisclosed reason, FCA US did not include the RAM in Important Safety Recall W68/NHTSA 20V-475 (replacement of defective tone wheel) but rather kicked the can down the road and reprogrammed the software in the Powertrain Control Module under Safety Recall W58/NHTSA 20V-475. Based on material evidence of the failed tone wheel, it is clear that the RAM should have been included in the tone wheel replacement recall. FCA US refuses to cover the replacement of the defective tone wheel under Recall W68/NHTSA 20V-475 and extend the tone wheel warranty under FCA US Extended Warranty Letter X94. I am hopeful that NHTSA will compel FCA US aka Stellantis to include the vehicle(s) excluded from Recall W68/NHTSA 20V-475 and reimburse the owner(s) the cost(s) associated with the replacement of the defective tone wheel under Letter X94.

SERVICE BRAKES

Received Service ABS System/Service Electronic Braking System indication on HUDS. Brake System OBD-II Reader shows ABS Module Failure. Consulted local dealership and pre-purchased the replacement part in Nov 2024. To date (Feb 19th, 2025) the parts expected delivery date has been moved out one month at a time for the last 4 months. This part failure causes the braking system to operate in a conventional manner, meaning that when the brakes are applied, they actuate at all 4 wheels simultaneously. This results in loss of handling in wet conditions. Several instances I have had to apply the brakes in an emergency during wet road conditions and narrowly escaped collision with other motor vehicles. Additionally, Louisiana state inspection requirements state that the vehicle MUST pass safety inspection to be allowed on the road. With this failure of a critical safety system, I have been unable to operate my vehicle safely and legally on Louisiana roadways.

1. The ABS brake module has failed. We have gone into the dealership twice over the past year and a half and they have said they will order the parts and call us back and we have never received a call. When I called to try to get it resolved the parts department at the dealership says there is an Engineering hold note on the parts that has been there for over a year with no other details. This part is on recall for Dodge Rams from 2017-2024, but not for 2015 makes. 2. Our safety is put at risk as there is no functioning ABS break system when driving on the highway. 3. The problem has been confirmed by our local Dodge dealership and several 3rd party mechanics (Brakes Plus and an independent mechanic). 4. The ABS warning lights and brake lights are always on and will not shut off as a result.

On [XXX], I was driving my 2015 RAM 1500 EcoDiesel in [XXX] when all of the sudden it will not accelerate and a check engine lamp illuminated. It was a near-miss to getting into an accident because the truck drastically slowed-down and wouldn't continue to accelerate. Due to the urgency of the situation, I was prompted to bring the truck over to the nearest Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM dealership in Ontario. Scan diagnostics was initially performed and P0336 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Performance was detected. CDJR Dealership in Ontario further found out delamination and broken pieces on crankshaft tone wheel but only have addressed the recall pertaining to fuel pump (Recall No. 22V406000). The truck would exhibit prolong cranking followed by a "Service Electronic Throttle Control" warning sign that pops-up in the dashboard every time an attempt to start the engine will be made. This have been duplicated when at the dealership and multiple times after [XXX]. I have later found out that there was a prior recall associated with Loss of Crankshaft Position (Recall No.W58) that was launched back in August 20, 2020, however, the corrective measure didn't include parts replacement but only reprogramming. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles have: Service Recall W58/NHTSA 20V-475 that have been APPLIED (launched in March 20th, 2020; Repaired in March 13th, 2021 - reprogramming), and also Service Recall 66A / NHTSA 23V-411 that the dealership is NOT WANTING TO APPLY or COVER (launched in June 7th, 2023 - parts replacement). As such, there is a disconnect between the two Safety Recalls from Stellantis / FCA US LLC. Reference Weblinks: [XXX] Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2014-2019 Ram 1500 and 2014-2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles equipped with 3.0L Diesel engines. In August of 2024 I began receiving an error message in my vehicle stating "Service Electronic Breaking System" on the gauge cluster. I also noticed the dash lights indicating that the ABS and traction control were disabled. The vehicle remained in this state whenever the vehicle was running. While i was returning home from work i hit the breaks on the freeway and the breaks locked up and i began to slide due to the ABS not functioning properly. Thankfully there was no accident but obviously this is extremely unsafe and the vehicle cannot be driven in this condition. I made an appointment on August 26,2024 to have the vehicle inspected and serviced at the dealership where i purchased the vehicle. After some correspondence the service rep indicated that there were other vehicles in for service for the same issue. It is now 28 Jan 2025 as of the date of this submission and my vehicle has still been able to be repaired. After numerous inquires with the service department i was informed that the module in question was under Engineer Review at the manufacturer and they could not ship the part until that was complete. The ETA of completion has been pushed back several times ,everytime i enquire for an update and is currently projected at 19 February, I have also opened an inquiry with the manufacturer Ram Customer Care / Stellantis case for assistance and havent received much in the way of additional information or assistance.

While driving my truck with randomly loose power steering and this happens at all speeds. It will also make my dashboard go crazy move my dashboard measurement alol over the place like a haunted clock. It will also give me more messages such as service power steering, electronic throttle control, service shifter, service transmission, service airbags. This will then cause my car to not shift up or down a gear while driving. This will happen and then if I unplug my battery for 10 minutes or so it goes away and then will randomly come back same day or the next day. My power steering will go out whether I’m parked going 10 miles an hour or if I’m going 75 miles an hour which is a gigantic safety issue. My steering wheel will randomly lock up and my car with then to move left and right as it locks up. In addition the check engine will either light up or not light up and then will disappear. I did take my truck back to the dealership to where I purchased it and was not able to solve the issue they attempted to fix it for a total of 36 days two times of which they “fixed” it but then I’d be driving on the highway and it would be doing it all over again. This has been going on since October 21 2024 and is not safe to drive but don’t have a choice as it is my only means of transportation so I try to manage it the best I can. I see multiple posts online about the same thing I believe there needs to be a safety recall on this regarding the entire wiring system, the electronic power steering module or the electronic throttle module. This needs to be addressed.

I have my traction control light show up on the dash. Took my truck to a mechanic thinking it might be my ABS Sensors. The code came up showing I am in need of the ABS Control Module. This seems to have been recalled on many of the Ram trucks as recent as September 2024. Also doing a lot of research, this seems to have been an ongoing problem for Ram trucks 2014-2016. The dealerships currently do not have the replacement part # 68228991AD which will replace the original 68228991AA, AB, and AC. It is apparently in engineering review. With the snow my location just had, I can tell you I have lost traction on the road. I have also lost traction and had hard braking on dry pavement within the past few weeks which is why I took the truck to the mechanic and learned of the ABS Control Module needing replaced. This should be recalled on all of the Ram trucks not just the 2019, 2021-2024.
