Recalls

  • Accelerator pedal software. (Recall 13V039000) Some vehicles with Volvo engines may have a throttle signal fixed at 1700 rpm regardless of pedal input, risking loss of vehicle control. The issue will be remedied by dealers at no cost.
  • Emergency window labels. (Recall 13V150000) Decals on emergency windows lack instructions to hold the latch down while pushing out the window. This may cause difficulty escaping in emergencies. Replacement decals will be provided free of charge.
  • Fuel line abrasion risk. (Recall 15V122000) Missing fuel line clips may allow the fuel line to rub on coolant hoses, causing leaks and fire hazards. Dealers will secure and inspect fuel lines at no charge.
  • Alternator belt and bearing. (Recall 22V221000) The alternator front bearing can seize while the belt continues running, leading to overheating and fire risk. The belt will be replaced free of charge.
  • Fire extinguisher malfunction. (Recall 17V737000) Certain Kidde fire extinguishers may clog or have nozzles detach, preventing proper discharge and increasing injury risk in a fire. Owners will be instructed to obtain replacement extinguishers from Kidde free of charge.
  • Fuel tank mounting failure. (Recall 17V618000) Cradle supports for the fuel tank may have gaps allowing bolts to loosen and the tank to detach, creating road hazards and stalling risks. Dealers will correct mounting issues free of charge.

Owners dealing with repeated repairs or unresolved recall issues should explore their rights under state lemon laws. Consulting a qualified attorney may help clarify options when safety defects persist or recalls are not adequately addressed.
