Recalls- Headlight adjustment caps. NHTSA recall 22V656000 affects 222,858 vehicles including the 2014 Panamera. Missing caps on the low-beam headlight adjustment screws may cause improper light alignment, leading to reduced road illumination or glare to other drivers. Dealers will inspect and install missing caps free of charge. Owner notifications began in October 2022.
- Shift lever bushing. NHTSA recall 19V446000 involves 99,665 vehicles and covers certain Panamera models from 2010 to 2016. The gear selector lever bushing can degrade and detach, allowing the key to be removed without the transmission properly in Park. This may result in the vehicle moving unexpectedly. Porsche advises using the parking brake until repair and will replace the bushing at no cost. The recall started in August 2019.
- A/C blower control unit. NHTSA recall 19V322000 impacts 33,206 vehicles including the 2014 Panamera. Water intrusion into the blower control unit may cause an electrical short, which increases fire risk. Dealers will inspect and replace the control unit if needed. Owner notification began February 2020. Porsche recommends parking outdoors until repairs are completed.
Owners of 2014 Panamera vehicles dealing with repeated repairs due to these recalls or facing unresolved safety defect issues may have rights under their state’s lemon law.
