  • Front suspension control arms. Also part of recall 18V287000 on 305 vehicles with the same defect and fix as the rear suspension recall. Replacement control arms will be provided at no charge.
  • Front seat belt anchorage bolts. Recall 16V520000 involves 306 vehicles where incorrect screws used during service could reduce belt anchorage strength in a crash. Porsche will inspect and replace bolts as needed for free.
  • Front lower control arms at ball joint. Recall 16V885000 covers 306 vehicles with front lower control arms susceptible to cracking at the ball joint. This defect could impair handling and increase crash risk. Repairs include replacing the lower control arms at no cost to owners.
  • Front lower control arms lower arm. Also under recall 16V885000 affecting 306 vehicles for cracking at the lower arm portion, with the same risk and remedy as above. Replacement control arms provided free of charge.

In the affected vehicles, incorrect screws might have been used when re-installing and/or re-securing the seat belt mount or the seat belt reel during vehicle service.

Risk: In the event of a crash, the incorrect bolts may not keep the seat belts properly anchored to the car, increasing the risk of injury to the seat occupants.
