FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS

Pleasure Way Industries, Ltd (Pleasure Way) is recalling certain 2021-2023 On Tour and Lexor motorhomes, equipped with certain Cummins Onan QG 2800i, and Onan QG 2800i EVAP generator sets. The fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the injection pump module (IPM) may have inadequate clamp force, possibly resulting in a gasoline leak.

Risk: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

2023 PLEASURE WAY ONTOUR

LANE DEPARTURE: WARNING

“The 2023 Pleasure-Way Ontour 2.2 motorhome is built on a 2022 Ford Transit 350 HD chassis, VIN [XXX] . Four times while driving on secondary roads at a low rate of speed, or while stopped at an intersection, warning chimes and 6 different types of error messages are generated on the instrument cluster. These messages persist over a 10 to 30 minute period, and then the 12-inch LCD display and instrument cluster shut down. The engine continues to run, but there is a loss of Blind Spot Alert, Pre-Collision Assist, Cross-Traffic Alert, TPMS, HVAC function, turn signals, speedometer, cruise control and all other display functions. Upon turning off the ignition, there is no way to start it again. The only remedy is to disconnect the chassis battery for approximately 15 minutes and then reconnect it. At that point, the engine can be restarted and all errors are cleared from the screen. After a scan of codes from the OBD port, approximately 62 messages are found which are all loss of communication errors.” INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
