Recalls- Power train transmission. Recall 24V190000 affects 70,509 trucks with improperly crimped right-hand gear shifter stalk connectors. This defect may cause loss of communication between the gear shifter and transmission, disabling the vehicle after stopping and increasing crash risk. Dealers will inspect and replace the gear shifter assembly free of charge.
- Electrical system software. Recall 24V915000 covers 220,764 vehicles equipped with Bendix EC80 Advanced Electronic Control Units. Electrical noise and low signal can cause the ECU to misprocess commands or stop working. Safety systems relying on the ECU such as ABS and collision mitigation may fail. Dealers will reprogram the ECU software at no cost.
- Service brakes control unit. Part of recall 24V915000 also involves the ECU affecting traction control and electronic stability systems. Malfunction increases crash risk. The fix is the same ECU software reprogramming as above.
- Steering gears. Recall 22V547000 affects 47,500 vehicles where steering gears may fracture due to incorrect assembly. A fractured steering gear can cause loss of steering control, raising crash risk. Dealers will inspect serial numbers and replace faulty gears free of charge.
- Instrument cluster display. Recall 22V779000 covers 74,730 vehicles with digital displays that may freeze and fail to show critical safety info like speed and warning lights. This violates federal safety standards and increases crash risk. Dealers will update the display software at no cost.
