Recalls
  • Steering fasteners. NHTSA recall 22V277000 affects 17,641 vehicles due to possible failure of Dana D-Series axle steer arm fasteners which may cause loss of steering control and increase crash risk. Dealers will replace and torque the fasteners at no cost.
  • Steering column weld. Recall 19V618000 involves 109 vehicles with an incorrectly located weld in the steering shaft that may crack and separate causing loss of steering control. Dealers will inspect and replace the steering column if needed free of charge.
  • Rear axle output shafts. Recall 19V911000 covers 148 vehicles where improperly heat treated forward rear axle output shafts can fracture, potentially detaching driveline parts and creating road hazards. Dealers will inspect and replace shafts as necessary without charge.
  • Driveshaft components. Also included in recall 19V911000, the driveline shaft risks detachment and road hazards from fractured axle output shafts. Inspection and replacement by dealers are provided at no cost.
  • Fuel injection rail leaks. Recall 21V391000 affects 612 vehicles with sealing washers that may not seat properly, allowing fuel leaks that increase fire risk. Dealers will inspect and replace faulty components free of charge.
  • Axle assembly pivot bolts. Recall 20V506000 involves 1,097 vehicles equipped with certain steerable lift axle suspensions where pivot bolts may be too short, risking disconnection from the suspension and creating road hazards. Dealers will inspect and replace bolts as needed at no charge.

Owners with repeated repairs or unresolved recall issues related to safety defects may have rights under state lemon laws. Consulting a qualified attorney specialized in consumer protection and lemon law may be advisable.
