2025 NISSAN VERSA Complaints and Recall Information
The 2025 NISSAN VERSA has 6 complaints and 0 recalls filed with NHTSA. Owners most frequently report issues with power loss and acceleration problems. Other complaints include sensor warnings related to weather conditions and windshield cracking without apparent impact damage.
Common Issues- Power loss and limited speed. Several owners report the vehicle cannot exceed speeds of 45 to 50 mph, even when the accelerator pedal is depressed. These cases sometimes include the vehicle entering LIMP Mode and losing motive power.
- Forward Collision Avoidance sensor warning. The sensor activates in rainy conditions, triggering a warning light and a message to consult Safety Map Information. The warning clears once weather improves.
- Windshield cracking. A windshield crack initiates near the bottom center above the hood and spreads rapidly with no clear impact source. The crack sometimes forms a groove along the glass edge before splintering.
Owners dealing with repeated power loss issues or sensor malfunctions may want to explore their rights under state lemon laws, especially if repairs are not resolving the defects. Consulting legal assistance could be beneficial for those with ongoing problems or unresolved concerns.

My windshield started to crack from the very bottom middle (just above the hood) and made its way up and splintered in multiple directions rapidly. I believe it's maybe heat related (probably defective) because I can't find an impact spot if it was a rock or something similar. I can feel the crack on the outside of the windshield at the very bottom (just above the hood) where the glass starts for about 3 maybe 4 inches, a nice little groove then after splintering in multiple directions I can no longer feel the cracks. Can you please look into this issue.

I had experienced a power loss. I could not go over 50 mph on the highway. I'm a new driver so I believe this was because I've been stalling it quite a bit and restarting the car.
