When exposed to hot temperatures, the affected vehicles have an engine start/stop button that may stick inside the button housing.

Please investigate air conditioning leak and create a recall. Dangerous fumes from evaporator core leak behind the dashboard sends out dangerous fumes through the vents. These fumes are extremely dangerous! Can cause driver and passengers to get very sick and light headed even with the climate control turned off! Nissan told me it would cost almost &5,000 to fix it! My car is only 2014 has less than 28,000 miles on it. I am a senior citizen on social security and don’t have that kind of money! I was also said it needed new rear brakes. Air conditioner leak in the Evaporator Core blowing strong fumes inside the car cabin. I had taken my car into Firestone Complete Auto Care to have my air conditioner checked because it was blowing hot air and filling the cabin with a horrible odor that was making me dizzy. They told me that they would put Freon with a dye that would show any leaks. I was told that they did find a leak however they are unable to repair it. I was told and, The repair technician’s report says “ EVAPORATOR CORE LEAK “ DASH REMOVAL WOULD BE REQUIRED”. I was told the repair would take several days so I needed to take my car to the Nissan Dealership for the repair.I truly believe that this leak is a hazard to drivers. I believe that the very strong odor leaking Freon fumes blowing in to the cabin could cause a driver to become ill, dizzy, possibly disoriented, or possibly loose consciousness. Also, without climate control working, unable to defog windows during a heavy rain or snow storm could cause accidents. I hope you will investigate this problem and encourage other Nissan owners to report similar incidents and hopefully issue a recall and repair order for this dangerous problem. Hopefully it will prevent many accidents and injuries.
