Recalls
  • Service brakes. Recall 13V108000 affects 84 buses due to brake pedals that may not fully release after application. Sustained brake pressure can cause overheating and risk of fire. NABI will inspect and repair free of charge. No "Do Not Drive" advisory issued.
  • HVAC electrical system. Recall 13V254000 involves 100 buses with rear mount Sutrak electric HVAC units. Fuse holders may allow voltage spikes, damaging electrical components and increasing fire risk. Dealers will replace cables and fuse holders free of charge. This recall combines two NHTSA entries under the same campaign number.
  • Painted steel wheels. Recall 13V597000 covers 157 buses where excessive paint may loosen lug nuts during operation, risking wheel detachment and crash. NABI replaced affected wheels free of charge. No driving restrictions applied.
  • CNG fuel system tank abrasion. Recall 14V517000 applies to 370 buses with CNG fuel tanks that may be abraded by adjacent Pressure Relief Devices. This abrasion can cause CNG leaks and fire risk. Dealers will install temporary protective covers with permanent repairs pending. Owners will be notified when permanent fixes are available.
  • CNG top cover latch assembly. Recall 14V143000 targets 241 buses with bolts that may contact CNG fuel cylinders, risking damage and fuel leaks increasing fire hazard. Dealers will eliminate the interference free of charge.
  • Driver seat anchorage. Recall 16V038000 affects 4848 buses with Recaro Ergo-M seats. Missing welds on J-Brackets may allow seatbelt anchorage to separate, risking injury to drivers in crashes. Inspections and replacement anchorage brackets are provided at no charge by New Flyer and Recaro.

Owners dealing with repeated repairs related to these safety defects or unresolved recall issues may have rights under their state lemon law.
