This can cause loss of power steering, alternator or water pump function, engine overheating, and fire risk. Dealers will replace the tensioner and belt free. - Windshield defrost system. Recall 24V242000 affects 61 school buses. A LIN gateway module may fail causing the defrost system to stop working, reducing visibility and increasing crash risk. Dealers will replace the module free. Notifications mailed May 17, 2024.
- Seat attachments. Recall 24V448000 involves 463 buses. Certain seats with lap and shoulder belts may be improperly attached, risking detachment in a crash and potential injury. Micro Bird will provide inspection and reattachment instructions at no cost. Notifications mailed August 14, 2024.
- Air conditioning power cable. Recall 22V715000 affects 2,753 buses. A loose power cable connection to the AC control board may cause overheating and melting, increasing fire risk. Dealers will secure and redirect cables free. Owner notifications mailed March 2, 2023.
