This can cause loss of power steering, alternator or water pump function, engine overheating, and fire risk. Dealers will replace the tensioner and belt free. Owner notifications mailed November 6, 2024.
  • Windshield defrost system. Recall 24V242000 affects 61 school buses. A LIN gateway module may fail causing the defrost system to stop working, reducing visibility and increasing crash risk. Dealers will replace the module free. Notifications mailed May 17, 2024.
  • Seat attachments. Recall 24V448000 involves 463 buses. Certain seats with lap and shoulder belts may be improperly attached, risking detachment in a crash and potential injury. Micro Bird will provide inspection and reattachment instructions at no cost. Notifications mailed August 14, 2024.
  • Air conditioning power cable. Recall 22V715000 affects 2,753 buses. A loose power cable connection to the AC control board may cause overheating and melting, increasing fire risk. Dealers will secure and redirect cables free. Owner notifications mailed March 2, 2023.
  • Seat-level rub rails. Recall 22V826000 affects 777 buses. Rub rails may be incorrectly attached, reducing impact protection and increasing injury risk. Micro Bird will inspect and secure rub rails free. Notification letters were mailed December 22, 2022.
