Dealers will inspect and replace the driveshaft if needed free of charge.
- Emergency call communication. Recall 21V058000 covers 1,292,258 vehicles including the AMG GT. A software flaw in the communication module can cause incorrect vehicle location data during crash emergency calls, potentially dispatching responders to the wrong location. The fix involves a free software update by dealers or over-the-air.
- Seat belt binding. Recall 17V826000 affects 1,263 AMG GT vehicles with seat belts that may bind within the guidance loops causing slack. Slack may increase injury risk during a crash. Dealers will reconfigure seat belt guides at no cost.
- Airbag control software. Recall 18V724000 applies to 2 AMG GT Cabrio models. Software incompatibility may cause both stages of the frontal airbags to deploy at low speed crashes instead of just the first stage, increasing injury risk. Dealers will update the airbag control software free of charge.
- Driver airbag inflator defect. Recall 18V208000 covers 57 AMG GT vehicles. Defective steel in the driver airbag inflator housing may cause improper inflation or rupture during deployment. This can result in serious injury or death from sharp metal fragments. Dealers will replace the driver airbag module without charge.
