Common Issues

  • Seat malfunction. Seats can become stuck in unsafe positions because of shortened or faulty seat wiring, making it difficult or nearly impossible to reach the pedals. Both driver and passenger seats are affected.

There are 8 recalls affecting various systems, including the fuel delivery system, suspension components, floor mats, seats, and electrical wiring. The recalls address issues that could impact vehicle safety and functionality.

Recalls

  • Fuel delivery hoses. (NHTSA Recall 14V654000) Affects 139 vehicles manufactured between July 23, 2014, and August 7, 2014. Fuel hoses may have been improperly crimped, causing leaks and fire risk. Dealers will replace the entire fuel delivery line free of charge.
  • Front wheel bearings. (NHTSA Recall 16V649000) Involves 7 vehicles built March 11, 2015, to May 14, 2015. Insufficient hardness of bearings can cause premature failure and affect handling. Dealers will inspect and replace faulty wheel bearings at no cost.
  • Fuel line assemblies. (NHTSA Recall 18V831000) Covers 6,334 vehicles from 2014-2015. Damaged fuel lines might leak, increasing fire risk. Dealers will replace fuel line assemblies free of charge, superseding an earlier recall.
  • Driver-side floor mat anchor. (NHTSA Recall 16V122000) Applies to 28,235 vehicles manufactured February 1, 2013, to November 30, 2015. The floor mat anchor may break, allowing the mat to trap the accelerator pedal, risking unintended acceleration. Dealers will replace the floor mat and possibly the accelerator pedal cover free of charge. Vehicles have a brake override system to mitigate risk.
  • Rear suspension tie-rod bolts. (NHTSA Recall 16V264000) Affects 26,464 vehicles produced February 1, 2013, to September 18, 2015. Improperly tightened bolts may cause tie-rod separation, leading to loss of control. Dealers will inspect and retighten or replace parts as needed free of charge.
  • Front seat wiring harness. (NHTSA Recall 17V046000) Encompasses 39,381 vehicles from 2014 through 2017 models. Seat adjustment might rub wiring, causing electrical shorts and fire risk. Dealers will inspect and replace the wiring harness if necessary at no cost.
