ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE
Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Mack MD vehicles. When the Controller Area Network (CAN) communications are interrupted, the throttle signal from the electro mobility control unit may retain the last known throttle setting, and the engine will not return to idle as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 124, "Accelerator Control Systems."
Risk: An engine that does not return to idle quickly enough can cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024 MMDe electric trucks. The battery management system software may cause the high-voltage battery to shut down, which can result in a sudden loss of steering control and drive power.
Risk: A sudden loss of steering control and drive power increases the risk of a crash.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM: CABLES:FASTENER/CONNECTOR
Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024 MD vehicles. An incorrectly assembled high voltage connector could prevent the mechanical connector lock from properly engaging, allowing the high voltage cable to loosen.
