Risk: Disabled display screens will not show critical information, such as the speedometer, gear selection indicators, and warning lights, which can increase the risk of a crash.

The contact owned a 2022 Lucid Air. The contact stated that while making a left turn, another vehicle crashed into the passenger side of the vehicle. The air bags did not deploy upon impact. The contact nor his wife were injured and a police report was filed. The whereabout of the other driver are unknown. Despite the accident, the contact managed to resume normal driving operation. The vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop for repair; however, the contact was informed a month later that the vehicle was a total loss. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but was offered no assistance. The vehicle was destroyed. The failure mileage was 7,495.
