- Rearview camera system. (NHTSA 25V572000) Affects 1,456,417 vehicles including 2015-2017 Navigators. The camera may show distorted, inverted, or blank images when reversing, limiting rear visibility and increasing crash risk. Dealers will inspect and replace the camera as needed at no cost.
- Exterior mirror LED lights. (NHTSA 25V091000) Affects 35,328 vehicles. LED logo lights on exterior mirrors may short-circuit, raising fire risk. Dealers will disconnect the LED light wires for safety. Owner letters sent March 2025.
- Front blower motor failure. (NHTSA 22V648000) Affects 198,482 vehicles. The blower motor behind the glove box may fail, increasing the risk of interior fires. Dealers will replace the blower motor assembly for free. Owner notification began August 2023.

The contact owns a 2017 Lincoln Navigator. The contact stated that while inspecting the vehicle, it was discovered that there was an unknown fluid leaking from the rear of the vehicle. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure. The contact later received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V236000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 58,000.

Back-up camera quit working about 3 months ago, 2025. There is a recall for the 2018 cameras but this is a 2017. Please include the 2017 year in the recall list. This issue poses a safety hazard when backing. Driver can not see what is behind the vehicle or if it is in a dangerous position. Since this is a SUV sized car the side mirrors are not adequate to safely see what is behind the car when backing. We have had a few close calls but no injuries yet.

The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V091000 (Visibility); and the remedy was available, and the vehicle was scheduled for the repair. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who informed that the contact that the recall remedy called for the dealer to disconnect the LED light wires. The contact expressed dissatisfaction with the recall remedy, stating that she believed simply disconnecting the LED light wires did not constitute a repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and confirmed the recall remedy. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
