The affected vehicles have incorrect tire data listed on the Federal Placard, possibly resulting in the tires being overloaded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply to with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110 "Tire Selection and Rims," as well as 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
Risk: If the vehicle is loaded to the limit provided on the label, the tires could fail, increasing the risk of a crash.
