  • Battery pack explosion risk. Recall 20V051000 affects 41 vehicles with Pelican flashlight battery packs that may explode while charging, risking injury. KME arranged returns and repairs of batteries starting March 2020 at no charge.
  • Sliding cover gas spring locks. Recall 19V267000 includes 148 vehicles where locks may disable unintentionally, allowing the sliding lift-up cover to fall and risk injury. Dealers replace gas springs with safer designs free of charge starting May 2019.
  • Brake system hydraulic hoses. Recall 18V237000 covers 38 vehicles with braided hydraulic hoses and lines that may contact the starter power stud, causing fluid leaks and possible shorts that increase fire risk. Dealers inspect and repair hose routing since May 2018 without cost.
  • Pressure relief valve corrosion. Recall 17V765000 affects 74 vehicles with Hale water pump pressure relief valves where corrosion may cause valve opening, lowering water pressure for fighting fires. Remedy kits installed free of charge from January 2018.
  • Front suspension ball joints. Recall 17V223000 involves 9 vehicles with ball joints that can loosen and separate, causing partial steering loss and crash risk. Repairs include inspection and securing of ball joints free of charge since May 2017.
