Recalls
  • Suspension torque arm welds. NHTSA recall 21V097000 affects 88 vehicles. Welds attaching suspension and torque rod mounts to the rear axle may be insufficiently welded, possibly breaking and causing loss of vehicle control and increased crash risk. Dealers will inspect and repair defects free of charge.
  • Electrical system touchscreen faults. NHTSA recall 16V586000 covers 74 vehicles. Class 1 Ultraview Touchscreens may activate switches falsely without operator knowledge, causing accessories like emergency beacons or snow chains to turn on or off unexpectedly, increasing crash risk. Dealers will reprogram units at no cost.
  • Sliding cover gas spring locks. NHTSA recall 19V267000 involves 148 vehicles. Locks for gas springs supporting sliding lift-up covers may be disabled unintentionally, allowing the cover to fall unexpectedly and risking injury to personnel. Dealers will replace gas springs with improved locking mechanisms or separate stay arms free of charge.
  • Hydraulic hose routing and leakage. NHTSA recall 18V237000 covers 38 vehicles. Certain braided hydraulic hoses, air lines, or fuel cooler lines may contact the starter power stud causing leaks and possible electrical short-circuit, increasing fire risk. Dealers will inspect, reroute hoses, add chafe guards, and replace damaged hoses free of charge.
  • Steering tie rod castellated nut torque. NHTSA recall 17V527000 affects 11 vehicles. The castellated nut on steer axles may be improperly torqued, allowing the tie rod to loosen. This can cause complete steering loss and crash risk. Dealers will inspect and tighten nuts or replace knuckle and tie rod assemblies if proper torque cannot be achieved.

Owners dealing with repeated repairs, safety defects, or unresolved recall issues should review their rights under their state’s lemon law. Legal consultation might help determine potential remedies for persistent problems or safety-related defects.
