Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2022 Dutchmen Aspen Trail, Coleman, Colorado, Voltage, Yukon, Keystone Carbon, Cougar, Hideout, Montana, Outback, Passport, Raptor, Retreat, Springdale, Sprinter and 2022-2023 Keystone Bullet travel trailers. The electric retractable awning has a welded seam on the fabric that may separate, potentially allowing the awning to drop beyond normal operation.

Risk: An awning that drops or extends beyond normal operation can increase the risk of injury.

Risk: Increased propane pressure can enlarge the flames in gas appliances, increasing the risk of a fire.

Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling various 2003-2018 Crossroads, Dutchmen, and Keystone recreational trailers equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17V755-5127.pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. Risk: If the television falls while people are in the vehicle, there would be an increased risk of injury.

For a full list of the specific models and floor plans affected, see RCLRPT-15V207-4161.PDF under “Associated Documents.” In the affected trailers, the studs that are used to attach the wheels to the axle hubs may break.

Risk: If the wheel studs break, the wheel could detach from the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

In the affected vehicles, the screws that attach the expanding room to the sliding mechanism cable may fail allowing the room to extend unintentionally while the vehicle is in motion.

Risk: If the room extends while vehicle is in motion, there is an increased risk of a crash.

KEYSTONE IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011 SPRINTER, COUGAR AND FUZION TRAVEL TRAILERS EQUIPPED WITH SIEMENS AND MURRAY ONE INCH PLUG-IN CIRCUIT BREAKERS. THE "SPRING CLIP" PLUG-IN ASSEMBLY MAY BREAK OR FAIL TO PROVIDE SUFFICIENT FORCE TO MAINTAIN A PROPER ELECTRICAL CONNECTION IN THE PANEL BOARD.

Risk: THIS COULD LEAD TO EXCESSIVE TEMPERATURE, ARCING OR THERMAL DAMAGE AT THE CONNECTION POINT AND POTENTIAL DAMAGE TO THE PANEL BOARD'S ELECTRICAL INSULATION WHICH COULD LEAD TO FIRE, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR PERSONAL INJURY.

KEYSTONE IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011 RECREATIONAL VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH ATWOOD 35 SERIES RANGE OVENS. A POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR A SMALL FRACTURE WITHIN THE LINE DELIVERING GAS TO THE OVEN CAVITY BURNER. SUCH A FRACTURE MAY CAUSE PROPANE GAS TO LEAK FROM THE LINE.

Risk: A PROPANE LEAK IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE COULD RESULT IN A FIRE AND/OR EXPLOSION CAUSING PROPERTY DAMAGE AND/OR PERSONAL INJURY.

The contact owns a 2013 Keystone Sprinter equipped with the original Dometic Refrigerator, Model Number: DM2652RBX, Serial Number: 24595696. The contact stated that while parked and occupying in the RV, the contact discovered that the refrigerator was not cooling as intended, causing the food to spoil. The contact immediately unplugged the refrigerator, refilled the propane and the refrigerator failed to work as intended. The contact also stated that brakes for the trailer was inoperable. The contact stated that the cause of the failure had not been determined by a dealer or independent mechanic. The manufacturer was notified of the failure; however, no assistance was offered.
