The internal O-ring between the saddle valve and the manifold can experience a propane gas leak.

Risk: A gas leak can increase the risk of a fire.

The regulator may fail, causing an increase in propane pressure.

Risk: Increased propane pressure can enlarge the flames in gas appliances, increasing the risk of a fire.
