Recalls
  • Air brake reservoir. Recall 24V145000 affects 996 vehicles due to insufficient air volume in the air tanks. This defect reduces braking performance, increasing crash risk. Dealers will install correctly sized air tanks free of charge.
  • Steering fasteners. Recall 22V277000 involves 17,641 trucks with Dana D-Series axle steer arm fasteners that may fail. Failure can cause loss of steering control and risk of a crash or injury. Dealers will replace and torque the fasteners at no cost.
  • Brake treadle valve hose. Recall 19V606000 covers 139 trucks with potentially loose compression fittings on brake treadle valves. Separation of the air supply hose can reduce braking ability, increasing crash risk. Dealers will inspect and tighten hose connections free of charge.
  • Fuel rail sealing washer. Recall 21V391000 applies to 612 vehicles where improperly seated sealing washers may cause high-pressure fuel rail leaks. Fuel leaks near ignition sources raise fire risk. Dealers will inspect and replace fuel rails as needed without charge.
  • Electronic stability control software. Recall 20V199000 affects 460,515 trucks equipped with NAMUX software. ABS warning lights may fail to illuminate if ABS loses power, leaving drivers unaware of ABS loss and increasing crash risk. Dealers will update cab control module software free of charge.
  • ABS warning light failure. Also covered under recall 20V199000 with identical affected vehicles and risk. Software update to NAMUX system is provided to ensure ABS alerts function properly.
  • Brake relay valve. Recall 20V086000 impacts 4 long wheelbase trucks missing a second R12 relay valve, causing increased brake activation timing. This may lengthen stopping distance and increase crash risk. Dealers will install the missing relay valve free of charge.

Owners confronting multiple repairs or unresolved recall issues related to safety defects may have rights under applicable state lemon laws. Consulting with legal experts specializing in consumer protection can help clarify those rights and options.
