2022 KARAVAN BOAT TRAILER

I have bought a seadoo switch first gen, the only trailer available to me was the painted steel. I live in South Florida, after a short few years and only a few trips to the ramp the trailer completely fell apart, major rust holes, and it is currently bent out of shape.

I am writing to point out defects and safety concerns for a "Sea Doo Move II" trailer that I own. It is sold and marketed by BPR (Bombardier Recreational Products Inc) nationally through authorized Sea Doo dealerships and manufactured in partnership with Karavan, LLC. This trailer is advertised as a Sea Doo product and all literature for it is published under the Sea Doo brand. The trailer is made almost entirely of aluminum, the exception being Its listed carrying capacity is 2500 pounds and it is used to haul my 2 personal watercraft (PWC), a 2021 Sea Doo RXP-X and a 2023 Sea Doo RXP-X (each weighs 780 lbs). The Move II trailer is specifically designed for these PWC. During my end of season trailer inspection, I observed stress fissures and cracks to almost all the welds in addition to significant cracks to the frame, some independent of weld seams.
