Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2010 Dodge Ram 3500, Ram 4500/5500, 2010-2011 Dodge Dakota, 2010-2014 Dodge Challenger, 2010-2015 Dodge Challenger, Chrysler 300, and 2010-2016 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. Upon deployment of the driver's frontal air bag, excessive internal pressure may cause the inflator to explode.

Risk: In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the passenger's frontal air bag, the inflator could explode with metal fragments striking the vehicle occupants potentially resulting in serious injury or death.

SEAT BELTS:FRONT:ANCHORAGE

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2011-2018 Jeep Wrangler right hand drive vehicles. The driver's seat belt buckle mounting strap may fracture and separate from the seat frame.

Risk: A separated or severed seat belt buckle strap will result in an inoperable seat belt, increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash.

SERVICE BRAKES

This is a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, it is need of a new ABS Modulator. This part has not been available for quite some time almost over a year. This is a critical safety feature that needs to be addressed. Jeep dealer told me and also a local mechanic not to drive in wet conditions. I have taken it to 3 different mechanics, dealer, and two outside the dealer, none can get the part. I have a ABS light on and traction control light on and a brake light on due to this part problem. Please help me in resolving this

ENGINE

I am having my oil cooler housing replaced once again after having replaced only 4 years ago. I am on my 3rd radiatior and 3 thermostat. This jeep is not driven hard or offroad and has been maintained in excellent condition. This engine is junk and not safe. I have not had warning lights only oil drippings in the driveway yet the oil level doesnt seem to change. If not caught this will cause your engine to lock up.

SERVICE BRAKES

Have no ABS. The light for the ABS stays on. Unable to get a part because it is under an "engineer review". The failed part is the hydraulic control unit. My safety and the safety of others are at risk due to no having anti lock brakes in south Florida where the roads on constantly wet. This is clearly a known problem.

The ABS light came on all of a sudden. The mechanic says the ABS module is bad. This seems to be a widespread problem as our Jeep has been out of commission for over a month now due to a replacement part lack of availability.

ENGINE

On a trip on 7/3/2025 out of state the engine failed due to a blown head gasket , which is the third engine related problem I have experienced . Other issues include: Broken exhaust valve spring, cracked oil filter housing. With being the original owner and having only 84,000 miles I feel this has to be an issue Jeep is having with my engine 3.6 Liter V6. I am lodging a formal complaint to hopefully, have help with the $11,000 quoted price to replace my engine. Thank you

The vehicle was taken to two other local dealers, Marino Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (5133 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60641) and Dodge Parts Overstock Parts (2875 Mall Hill Dr, Lakeland, FL 33810), where it was diagnosed the oil pressure sensor circuit had failed and needed to be replaced. The oil pressure sensor circuit was replaced, but the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 107,272.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

Garavel Chrysler Jeep Dodge 300 Westport Ave Norwalk, CT 06851 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 2015 06/12/2025-06/13/2025 & 06/192025 - Chris Riordan (Service advisor) & Rich Morel (Service Manager) 203-845-8040 My daughter was driving the Jeep and noticed the brake pedal was intermittently sinking to the floor, she brought it to the dealership where Chris Riordan (Service advisor) immediately diagnosed the common problem with the 2015 jeep Wrangler of caliper freeze up and hose replacement. knowing this issue they still let her drive the vehicle home with a known hazardous defect, The vehicle was dropped off for repair on 06/12/2025. later in the day we were notified that the mechanic upon re-installing one of the caliper bolts broke off the head of one of the bolts and they had to order one and it would be installed 06/13/2025, My daughter was there in the morning to pick up the vehicle only to find out it was not ready and that it needed to be test driven not once but twice ?? My daughter then drove on the highway home to pick up two children she was babysitting ,while pulling up to a friend's house she was told there was a grinding and scraping noise coming from the front left rim, we then told her not to drive the vehicle. At that a friend's mechanic removed the wheel and found the bolt missing that was supposedly ordered and installed with two test drives, so the caliper was flopping around off the rotor putting my child's life in danger. Our mechanic renewed the bolt and properly bled the brakes that Garavel’s mechanic failed to do also, What he also found was a front axle seal leak and a defective tie rod. Garavels service department failed at every possible level

WHEELS

On June 22, 2025, I parked my Jeep in a parking space in a hotel parking lot. I opened the rear tailgate to retrieve items and when I closed the tailgate, the spare tire fell off as a result of the the spare tire carrier failing and ripping in half. Half of the carrier is still bolted to the Jeep and the other half to the spare tire. There was no warning of impending failure. If this had occurred 10 minutes earlier while I was on the freeway, it could have injured or killed someone. There is nothing in the Jeep owner's manual about maintenance or how to prevent this from happening. Jeep's response was that it is no longer under warranty, but I feel this is a product defect issue. (see photos)

I have been told that my ABS module needs to be replaced and that Jeep is no longer making these. I am on a waiting list with thousands of people. I am able to drive my Jeep, thankfully, but I am unable to use my cruise control. I don't know what damage this issue is causing to my Jeep; I've read others horror stories about their Jeeps just sitting in the driveway unusable and unsellable. This should not be the case. This should be a recall and Jeep or Chrysler should be MADE to rectify this situation.

I have conducted the following repairs to attempt to fix the issue: 1. Rebuilt Transmission 2. Replaced throttle body 3. Replaced PCV 4. Replaced crankshaft sensor 5. Replaced camshaft sensor 6. Replaced Fuel Pump 7. Replaced fuel pump fuse 8. Replaced fuel pump relay fuse Mechanic and I have traced the problem to a likely fault in the TIPM. Due to unpredictability of stalling this has become a safety issue as the car will stall in traffic. Most often between 35-40 mph and below 2000 RPM...this is always while driving and is unsafe for both me and my fellow motorists. Most recent date is noted later in this form. I have been attempting to get part 68259556ad which is brake module for my 2015 jeep wrangler. I have been trying to get the part since Nov 2023. This is making multiple light stay on my dash and the cruise control isn't working. Every month they says that it will be next month.

I have attempted to purchase a replacement ABS module to correct the failure for over a year now. Several dealerships have cancelled my order after it has gone unfulfilled. People are spending thousands of dollars to change out computers several times for it to keep happening and jeep has no answers. It first happened two years ago, then about one time 6 months later and then 6 months are that it happened again. But recently its been happening everyday. No matter it I am coasting, on the highway or in my local area it will stall. No warning lights no engine lights just no response in the gas peddle when it stalls. This is going to be super dangerous if other jeeps keep stalling on the highways. Check out forums it happens all the time. Jeep dealers just want to keep changing sensors for 200 here and there.

I took it to a repair shop, and they said the ABS module put out a code it was failing and needed to be replaced and not to drive it because it was unsafe. They said we can't get the part they aren't making them. After checking This is true. He was unable to locate any parts from any of his normal suppliers and called the Jeep dealerships only to be told that the part was on an "engineering hold" and unavailable for purchase. That date then became November 2024, January 2025, and most recently March 20, 2025 with no part ordered yet. Jeep has failed to provide a replacement part or repair option for this critical component that is failing in multiple year and models of Jeep Wranglers and the risk to injury is significant if it fails while the car is being driven. I either have to choose to not drive the car I have paid for and maintained or I have to play Russian roulette every time I get behind the wheel and wonder if this is the ride where the module will fail.

ABS control module gives error code, attempt to purchase replacement at dealer, dealer said they are on back order pending engineering review and will not be available until the end of march 2025 and will likely be pushed out again, this is a serious a safety issue, if you research it the web is full of issues where jeeps have caught on fire and or breaking went out. Lack of oil in the heads after sitting for a while results in dry valve train at start up and over time results in premature failure of hydraulic lifters not pumping up and rocker arms and cams being dry until oil reaching these parts.

Same problem that I'm having is happening to thousands of people. People are either swapping engines ($20k+) or fixing for ($5k+)Sand debris left in 3.6 engine at time of manufacturing that causes cooling system repair and eventually engine head replacement because of misfire warning. My jeep has 60k miles. Have already replace radiator 2 years ago and now I'm getting misfire on cylinder 2. Ran compression test on cylinder 2 . Only 80 psi showing on gauge compared to 150 psi in the other cylinders. Head is bad. There has been a extended warranty on older jeeps with same engine to fix the issue but, not for 2014 and up. Which makes no sense. PLEASE HELP
