POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:INTERNAL:PARK PAWL
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Dodge Charger and Jeep Wagoneer S electric vehicles. An incorrectly installed spring may cause the loss of the park function when the vehicle’s gear selector is placed in the park (P) position, which can result in a vehicle rollaway. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 114, "Theft Protection and Rollaway Prevention."
Risk: A vehicle rollaway increases the risk of a crash.

STRUCTURE:BODY
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S vehicles. The vehicles are equipped with an incorrect cross car beam in the instrument panel. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
Risk: An incorrect cross beam may not adequately protect occupants in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Jeep Wagoneer S battery electric (BEV) vehicles. The headlight vertical aim adjustment is not accessible, and the horizontal aim adjustment is not covered as intended. As a result, the headlights may not be able to be adjusted properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Risk: Incorrectly adjusted headlights can reduce driver visibility or create a glare for oncoming traffic, increasing the risk of a crash.

While traveling on the interstate at approximately 70 mph, I pressed the accelerator pedal to increase speed. Instead of accelerating, the vehicle suddenly jerked, and the wheels locked up as though the brakes engaged on their own. I continued pressing the accelerator, but the vehicle rapidly decelerated without responding to throttle input. The most concerning part was that the brake lights did not illuminate while the vehicle slowed down, which created an extreme safety hazard because drivers behind me had no warning that I was slowing. A large truck traveling directly behind me nearly collided with my vehicle because the sudden deceleration was not signaled by the brake lights. This incident placed both myself and surrounding drivers in immediate danger. The vehicle is currently at the dealership service department for inspection, and I have reported this issue. At this time, the problem has not yet been confirmed or reproduced by the dealer, but the failure was unexpected, severe, and occurred without warning. Prior to the failure, the only indication was that a red wrench symbol with a lightning bolt illuminated on the dashboard. The failure itself happened suddenly with no audible or mechanical warning. The malfunction appears related to the braking system, power train, and/or speed control systems. I am requesting that this incident be fully documented and investigated as a potential safety defect, as an uncommanded deceleration at highway speeds without brake light illumination presents a serious risk of high-speed rear-end collisions.

The contact’s partner owns a 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S. The contact stated that the vehicle was shifted into drive to exit the driveway however, the vehicle accidentally shifted to reverse, requiring approximately 6 to 8 attempts to drive forward. The contact stated that the headlights failed to illuminate. The vehicle was on an incline with the front of the vehicle facing upwards. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact learned how to reset the vehicle while watching a YouTube video. After following the advice from the video and resetting the vehicle, the contact was able to drive the vehicle and accelerate as needed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who had not confirmed a diagnosis for the failure. The vehicle remained with the dealer for approximately 60 days. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 500.

Right after purchasing the Wagoneer S, a big red sign and a red wrench showed up on the dash, saying electrical issues. It happened every day. The car stopped in the middle of the road and did not want to move until I shut it off and turned it on again. Sitting in the garage the car would not go into gear, just had all the lights flash. Restarted and all worked. Took to dealer, they had it two days and told me they did not have a fix for the electrical issue. Took it home and 2 days later same issues. Called the dealer again and took it back to the dealer. It has been sitting at the dealership for the last 35 days. Called Wagoneer, Stellantis and the new Jeep in Detroit. No help. Parts issues. I looked at a Wagoneer group on the internet, a large number are having the same issues and more. It has some other software issues like the automatic mirrors and supposed to retract and go back out after starting. Noise issues in the overhead. Missing the 115 volt charger and cargo cover. Waiting 3 months for that.

I am reporting ongoing, unresolved, and potentially dangerous issues with my [Year] Jeep [Model, Trim], related to the ECU, electrical system, and overall drivability. I just picked up the vehicle yesterday after it spent 31 days in service, during which the dealership pulled over 65 different codes. Despite this, the vehicle was returned to me with no true resolution, and within 24 hours of driving it again, it is now showing 23 additional new codes. The car has stalled while driving, creating an extremely unsafe situation. On several occasions, it refuses to start. At one point, the vehicle was stuck in drive for over 27 hours, making it unusable and unmovable. These issues are recurring and unpredictable, making the vehicle a clear safety hazard. I’ve contacted Jeep Customer Care repeatedly. My assigned case manager refuses to respond, and they will not assign me a new one. I’ve escalated requests to management multiple times and have been completely ignored. I am unable to get any assistance despite the seriousness of the issue. This vehicle is unsafe, unreliable, and I am left without a functional mode of transportation. I’m filing this complaint with the hope that it prompts further investigation into these vehicle failures and Jeep/Stellantis’ refusal to properly address them.

The car died/bricked up 2 days ago 7 days after owning the vehicle. They said it was a cell in the 12 volt battery. Just picked it up and drove it for 30 minutes it threw up a turtle error and jerked forward a few times Almost hit a pedestrian and a car in front of me. I parked it and getting it towed. It seems according to other owners these things are all bad.

Service Electrical System - Consistent error when driving the vehicle - not reproducible as it will appear 5 minutes into operation or after a number of cycles. Currently on 2 visits to the service department for this error. After the 2nd visit, they performed actuator calibration. Assumed it was sorted after a number of test drives to re-create. Issue occurred within 5 miles of pick-up from the dealership.

Vehicle would not respond to any driver controls upon entering vehicle, disabled drive and stated the vehicle was being charged even though we were in the middle of an empty parking lot while shopping. I tried to shut it off in an effort to reset the systems but the vehicle would not shut down no matter what I did. Tried multiple times and it sat there with the charging in use indications and would not respond to any driver inputs. With no choice I exited the vehicle to go and get some assistance but the vehicle (currently on) would not lock the doors. As a result I stayed with the vehicle until it changed its status or I was able to get a tow truck. Approximately 35 minutes later the system reset itself and I was able to drive it straight to the dealer where they captured 22 fault codes. The vehicle has been at the dealer since 16 May with 1395 miles on it, we purchased it 28 April new from the local dealer. It left me stranded and unsecure putting me at undue risk.
