2018 JAGUAR XE Complaints and Recall Information

The 2018 JAGUAR XE has 0 complaints and 6 recalls filed with NHTSA. Owners most frequently report issues involving the electrical system, fuel system, and body structural components.

The six recalls for the 2018 Jaguar XE impact several systems related to vehicle safety and operation. They address potential structural weaknesses, electrical instrument cluster failures, and fuel system leaks among others.

  • Rear rail structural defect. NHTSA recall 21V248000 affects 3 vehicles where missing spot welds weaken the rear rail assembly. This can cause the rear bumper beam or tow-bar assembly to detach increasing crash risk. Dealers will replace the rear rail assembly free of charge.
  • Instrument cluster failure. Recall 17V678000 covers 7,036 vehicles with intermittent blanking of the instrument cluster. Loss of display information like vehicle speed raises crash risk. Dealers will update software to fix this issue.
  • Fuel rail leakage. The fuel rail end caps may leak in 10,073 vehicles under recall 18V090000. Leaking fuel vapor or liquid in the engine bay can catch fire if ignition sources are present. Jaguar dealers replace the fuel rail free of charge.
