- Rear suspension U-bolts. Recall 21V194000 affects 258 vehicles from 2015 to 2020 production years. Rear axle U-bolt nuts may be improperly tightened and loosen, causing axle misalignment. This can lead to propeller shaft separation, loss of rear-wheel power, stalling, and crash risk. Dealers will inspect and retighten or replace U-bolts free of charge. The recall started April 23, 2021.
- Fire extinguishers. Recall 17V726000 involves 69,138 vehicles equipped with Walter Kidde Plastic-Handle extinguishers, models FC10 and FC110. The extinguishers may clog or require excessive force to operate; nozzles can detach causing injury and rendering them inoperable. Owners will receive replacement extinguishers at no charge starting December 2017. This recall also addresses extinguishers from a prior recall 15V778.

Isuzu Technical Center of America, Inc. (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Isuzu NPR, Reach, 2016-2020 Isuzu NPR XD, NPR HD, NQR, 2016-2021 Isuzu NRR, 2017-2020 Chevrolet 4500XD, 4500HD, 5500HD, and 2020 Chevrolet 5500XD vehicles. The U-bolt nuts for the rear axle may not have been properly tightened and may loosen, causing the axle to misalign.
Risk: The misalignment may cause the propeller shaft to separate, causing a loss of power to the rear wheels and a stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

Risk: Unexpected loss of steering increases the risk of a crash.

(Isuzu) is recalling certain 2011-2017 Isuzu NPR, 2008 NPR HD and NPR-HD Gas, 2011-2018 NPR HD and NRR, 2015-2018 NPR XD, 2012-2018 NQR, 2012-2017 NPR Gas and NPR-HD Gas, 2016-2017 Chevrolet Low Cab Forward 3500 HD, 3500 and 4500 and 2017-2018 Chevrolet Low Cab Forward 4500 HD, 4500 XD, 5500 HD and 5500 XD vehicles, equipped with certain Walter Kidde Plastic-Handle Fire Extinguishers, models FC10 and FC110. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable.
Risk: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
