Recalls
  • Rear brake master cylinder. Recall 15V721000 affects 7,614 motorcycles. The rear brake master cylinder may fail, leading to partial or full loss of rear brake power. • Gear position switch contacts. Recall 19V776000 impacts 52,745 motorcycles. Oxidation of the gear position switch contacts may cause the gear position display to incorrectly show neutral when the bike is in gear. This can cause unexpected motorcycle movement on startup and increase crash risk. The switch will be replaced free of charge by dealers.
  • Engine control module software. Recall 16V446000 involves 18,383 motorcycles. An engine misfire may allow unburned fuel to enter the exhaust system, raising exhaust temperatures. This could lead to a fire hazard. Dealers will update the ECM software at no cost to owners.

Owners with recurring safety defects or multiple unresolved recalls may want to explore their rights under state lemon laws. Repeated repair attempts on critical systems like brakes and engine control could warrant legal review.
