Idle Free Systems, Inc. (IFS) is recalling certain IFS Auxiliary Power Units with the Reefer-type trailer Link Kit option manufactured January 1, 2010, to May 31, 2016. In the affected power units, the battery positive cable may short to ground.
Risk: If the positive battery cable short circuits, it can increase the risk of a fire.
