Recalls
  • Oxygen tank bracket. Recall 19V742000 affects 11 vehicles due to a loose D-cylinder oxygen tank bracket that may cause the tank to become airborne during a crash. This poses a risk of injury to occupants. The fix involves notifying owners and providing replacement bracket assemblies or refunds free of charge.
  • Air bags. Recall 19V608000 affects 80 vehicles where Inflatable Head Cushion and Knee Air Bag cushions may detach and fail to inflate properly during deployment. This increases injury risk in a crash. Dealers will install replacement air bags when available at no cost.
  • Backup camera display. Recall 19V281000 affects 49 vehicles equipped with ASA Electronics back-up camera displays. The displays may revert to factory default settings causing the rear image to be reversed, increasing crash risk. Dealers will install a harness relay capacitor module to fix the issue.
  • Rear brake caliper flexible line. Recall 20V291000 affects 17 vehicles built on Ram 4500 or 5500 chassis with Compressible Liquid Adaptive Suspension Systems. The brake line may contact suspension components causing wear that can lead to brake fluid leaks and rear brake loss. Dealers will inspect brake lines, modify mounting, and replace lines if needed.
  • Rear suspension components. This is part of recall 20V291000 impacting 17 vehicles with a risk of brake line damage due to suspension contact, leading to possible brake failure. Repairs include inspection and component replacement as required.
  • Electrical input power cord. Recall 20V128000 affects 18 vehicles due to an undersized A/C power cord for the Sensata inverter, which may cause an electrical short circuit. This creates fire and shock hazards. Owners have been notified and provided with replacement cords free of charge.

Owners dealing with repeated repairs, safety defects, or unresolved recall issues may have rights under their state’s lemon law. Those affected should consider consulting an attorney to understand their options.
