STRUCTURE
Great Lakes Manufacturing Inc. (Great Lakes) is recalling certain model year 1998-2016 Drywall Pup trailers manufactured January 1, 1998, to April 29, 2016. The rear impact guards on the affected trailers do not extend within 4" of the side of the vehicle. As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 224, "Rear Impact Protection."
Risk: If the rear impact guards to not stretch the required length, it can increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
