• Frame cracks. Stress and flex cracks appear on both passenger and driver side I beams close to the suspension areas, as reported in multiple complaints.

There are four recalls involving various systems on the 2018 GRAND DESIGN IMAGINE. These recalls address issues with the LPG system, power tongue jack, slide room mechanism, and electrical wiring near the air conditioning unit.

• LPG system regulator. (Recall 21V393000) This affects 55,508 vehicles from 2016 to 2021. The LP regulator may fail and allow excessive gas pressure that enlarges the appliance flame, increasing fire risk. Dealers will replace the LP regulator free of charge. Owner notifications began June 24, 2021.
• Power tongue jack. (Recall 17V789000) Covers 3,969 2017-2018 trailers with Smart-Jack power tongue jacks. The laminated plastic touchpad may crack, allowing water entry that causes unintended jack operation. This could increase crash or injury risk. Dealers will replace the jack at no cost. Recall began December 29, 2017.
• Slide room screws. (Recall 17V271000) Affects 1,662 trailers from 2017-2018. Screws securing the slide room mechanism columns may shear, allowing the slide room to extend while towing. This increases crash risk. Dealers will replace the screws free of charge. Recall began May 15, 2017.
• Air conditioning wiring. (Recall 17V620000) Involves 3,621 trailers from 2017-2018. Wires at the AC unit may detach and cause a short circuit, raising fire risk. Dealers will replace wire connectors with positive retention connectors for free. Recall began October 23, 2017.
