- Passenger air bag inflator Phase 1 (Recall 21V050000). A large population of vehicles registered in high-humidity "Zone A" and moderate humidity "Zone B" includes this recall which covers about 2,641,272 vehicles. The inflators contain PSAN propellant that can degrade and explode, projecting metal fragments. GM is replacing inflators free of charge with notifications sent starting February 2021.
- Passenger air bag inflator Phase 2 (Recall 21V053000). Covers 692,526 vehicles in Zone A, Zone B, and Zone C states. The defect and risk are identical to the earlier inflator recall. GM will replace the defective inflators with alternatives free of charge and has issued notifications in 2021.
- Passenger air bag inflator Phase 3 (Recall 21V052000). Applies to 557,023 vehicles in Zone B and Zone C states. The same defect of propellant degradation and risk of inflator explosion applies. GM mails notifications and provides free replacement inflators.
- Fire extinguisher malfunction (Recall 18V267000). Around 6,154 vehicles have fire extinguishers that may clog or require excessive force to discharge, with some nozzles possibly detaching and causing injury. GM instructs owners to contact Kidde for a free replacement extinguisher.

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2009-2014 Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD, 2009 GMC Topkick 5000, 6000, 7000 and 8000 Series and Isuzu F Series, and 2009-2018 Chevrolet Express, and GMC Savana vehicles, equipped with certain Plastic-Handle Fire Extinguishers or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or requiring excessive force to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2007-2011 Chevrolet Silverado HD 2500/3500 trucks manufactured January 18, 2007, to June 22, 2011, and GMC Sierra HD 2500/3500 trucks manufactured January 22, 2007, to June 21, 2011, and equipped with an auxiliary battery. Owners may unknowingly draw too much current through the vehicle's trailer harness resulting in the melting of fusible link for the auxiliary battery.
Risk: If the fusible link melts it may come into contact with adjacent components, damage the electrical center cover, the nearby wiring harness conduit and other vehicle components, increasing the risk of a fire.
