  • Incorrect GVWR labels. Recall 14V625000 affected 205 vehicles due to incorrect Gross Vehicle Weight Rating on certification and tire information labels. Incorrect loading per these labels could cause tire failure and increase crash risk. Forest River provides corrected labels free of charge.
  • Brittle spring hangers. Recall 14V689000 covers 206 trailers with potentially brittle frame spring hangers that could fracture, risking trailer control loss and crashes. Dealers supply and install reinforcement kits at no cost.
  • Draw bar weakness. Recall 14V712000 involves 40 trailers with insufficient draw bar thickness. Breakage of the draw bar increases crash risk by causing trailer detachment or collapse. Lippert Components reinforces the draw tube free of charge.
  • Wrong tire and rim placards. Recall 15V645000 affects 78 units with tire and wheel placards stating incorrect sizes. This mislabeling could cause towing instability and crash hazards. Corrected placards are issued to owners at no charge.
  • Break-away brake switch wiring. Recall 18V550000 covers 5847 trailers where break-away safety switch wiring may disconnect from the house battery. This failure disables trailer brakes if detached from the tow vehicle, increasing crash risk. Dealers install new wiring harnesses free of charge.
  • Fire extinguisher malfunction. Recall 17V756000 includes multiple models with Kidde plastic-handle or push button "Pindicator" extinguishers that may clog or require excessive force, and nozzles that may detach. These defects raise injury risk during fires. Owners are instructed to contact Kidde for free replacement extinguishers.

Owners facing repeated repairs or unresolved safety concerns related to recalls may have rights under their state’s lemon law. Consulting with a consumer protection attorney experienced in lemon law claims could be beneficial in such cases.
