Recalls
  • Turn signal lens. Recall 24V913000 affects 6,963 vehicles due to undersized reflective surfaces on amber turn signals. The deficient reflectivity could make turn intentions less visible to others, increasing crash risk. Repair details are pending and interim owner notices were sent in January 2025.
  • Window adhesive failure. Recall 21V523000 impacts 825 vehicles with Hehr 6400 Series windows where the adhesive bonding the vented portion may fail. This detachment raises crash or injury risks. • Secondary egress window missing. Recall 16V176000 involves 133 vehicles that mistakenly have a vented window installed instead of an emergency egress window in the rear wall. Absence of proper escape route increases injury or death risk during emergencies. Dealers will replace vented windows with egress windows free of charge, starting May 2016.
  • Brake hydraulic control unit defect. Recall 17V846000 covers 52 vehicles with Ford chassis and ABS systems where HECUs may lack valve block ball plugs. This defect can cause brake fluid leaks or air ingestion, extending stopping distances and raising crash risk. Ford dealers will inspect and repair at no cost beginning January 2018.
  • Windshield roller shade malfunction. Recall 18V768000 includes 4,790 vehicles with driver-side motorized windshield shades that may unroll unexpectedly while driving, blocking visibility and increasing crash risk. Dealers will install a fastener to prevent this issue starting November 2018.
  • Excess seat belts installed. Recall 16V419000 affects 9 vehicles where two seat belts were installed on a rear-facing dinette seat allowing up to eight passengers, exceeding the GVWR. Overloading increases crash risk. Dealers will remove extra seat belts free of charge; owner notices began in July 2016.

Owners with multiple repairs related to these recalls or unresolved safety defects may have rights under their state’s lemon law. Consumers should consider consulting legal resources if they encounter ongoing issues regarding vehicle safety or reliability.
