I just picked up my Ford F-250 (2022) from Allstar Ford in Prairieville, La. It will have been 3 weeks since I had my truck towed to this dealer! On Tuesday [XXX] my truck stalled in heavy traffic and was able to glide off [XXX] in Baton Rouge and same to a dead stop at the end intersection. I blocked traffic for 30 minutes until truck started and was able to get out of traffic! My Ford pass App text a message to me that my fuel pump module had failed. Dealer could not diagnose a failure and after 3 weeks I finally went and picked it up. They did offer to replace the fuel pump for $1700.00 as my 100,000 warranty could not be applied because dealer diagnostics could not recognize the fault??? Truck has 72,000 mile on it!! So now I am driving around in a vehicle that could stall at any time, without any notice. Now what do I do?? INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C.

Fuel pumps failure causing the truck to loose power while in traffic. I have spent 8 thousand dollars in repairs and I am still all of a sudden low Fuel pressure pops up on the screen and it looses power. Has left me stranded 200 miles from my house. Ford has told me that they can't get it to happen for their tech and told me to drive it. Same thing happened again 200 miles away from my house. I feel like Ford knows what it does and doesn't want to correct the problem. These trucks are very expensive to buy and to operate with all the service that has to be done to keep it on the road. I have been driving Ford trucks for over 35 years and this has got to be the worst one ever also the most expensive.

Power fold mirrors do not fold in or out as designed. Mirrors do not completely fold out causing safety issue when a need to change lanes. Issue appears to occur when ambient outdoor temperature is above 85 degrees and/or when the sun heats mirrors. I have reported the issue to the Ford dealer several times when the problem was intermittent and was told they could not diagnose the issue due to it being intermittent. The service writers I have spoken with also stated they have never heard of the issue. This problem started at approximately 6,000 miles (intermittent) and has escalated to very close to 100% of the time now. Vehicle mileage is currently 46,000 miles. There are several complaints on various forums on the internet regarding this issue. Vehicle is available for inspection.

While my truck was under warranty, I reported intermittent failure of the front passenger door lock not functioning. Because it was intermittent, the dealership said since they couldn't replicate the issue they would not try to fix the issue. Now that I am out of warranty, the lock has failed completely and the front passenger door does not automatically lock when I am driving. The safety issue is that it will not lock or unlock automatically when it should. All other door locks work properly. Ford has refused to fix this as if it were still under warranty.

I brought my 2022 F-250 in to Tasca Ford in Seekonk, MA in July 2024 because the camera system was malfunctioning. It would sometimes freeze, or certain cameras would work and others wouldn't, or sometimes choosing a different camera would do nothing and the current camera would stay on the screen and never leave. Sometimes the camera would be a little distorted. Obviously unreliable cameras are annoying, but this can also be dangerous. And sometimes the cameras all worked fine! Tasca replaced a wiring harness and it was covered under warranty. In April 2025, I took the truck back in to Tasca as the camera problems were happening again. Same symptoms as before. They said the fix is to replace the APIM(?) image processing module, and that it would cost $3000 and that I was 6 months out of warranty. They submitted a request to Ford to cover this as a pre-existing condition and it was denied. I contacted Ford today because of the recall "25S49" which covers similar trucks, but not 2022 F-250's. I explained to Ford that my truck is having the exact same symptoms described in the recall. I asked them to extend the recall to my truck. They said they can't do that, and that I should contact NHTSA.

The drivers door power door lock fails to operate either to unlock the vehicle or to lock it. This is a safety risk as the power door lock should automatically lock the door once the vehicle reaches a certain speed to help doors remain shut in roll over accidents. Automatically locking the door also provides some security to occupants for carjacking. This problem first started when the door lock actuator failed to work in freezing weather at approximately 19,000 miles. The dealer was unwilling to repair it under warranty do to not being able to duplicate the condition despite video evidence. The problem has progressed to where it now no longer functions at all. This is not an uncommon issue as I have spoke with others who have had the same failure. Previous model year trucks have has customer gotten extended warranty from Ford to cover the lock malfunctions. Customer Satisfaction Program 20M04. The component of issue is the rear drivers side FOX shock added by Tuscany Motor Co, majority owned by Fox Factory. This component collides with the rear brake fluid line causing excessive wear. Eventual failure of this line could potentially cause brake failure leading to a major road hazard. This component is available for inspection upon request. According to my local dealership, other Shelby Super Bajas have the same design flaw with the shock absorber. This component/issue has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance, or others besides my dealership. There were no warning lamps or other forms of warning besides visual excessive wear of the brake line.

I was driving at a highway speed of 65 mph when suddenly the check engine light came on and the speed quickly dropped to 25 mph. The alert that appeared on the truck computer was low fuel pump pressure. This put myself and my family at risk of a severe accident. The dealership found corrosion in the fuel line and a problem with fuel pump. They felt it was possibly from contaminated fuel. They were working on 3 other vehicles with the same problem. This had not happened before and this is a vehicle driven daily. The term the came up with was a " Catastrophic fuel system Failure"

While driving on freeway, engine started to miss/hesitate. No check engine light. Miss/hesitation started to get more frequency and started smelling gas. No check engine light. Took offramp and truck died at stop sign. Pushed truck to gas station. Once out of truck, the smell of gas was prominent. Checked under hood and saw nothing unusual. Looked under truck on driver side and saw gas dripping from the transmission to the bumper under the truck. Looked under passenger side and saw more gas. Walked around to driver side, opened the driver door (which turns the fuel pump on) and saw gas spraying from under the truck. Got under the truck and determined that the supply connector on front side of fuel tank was disconnected. I reconnected the connector, clipped it locked, checked for leaks and restarted engine. There have been no further problems. Determined that approximately 10 plus gallons of gas sprayed under the truck. Approximate milage at time of incident was 6500 miles, current mileage is 6900 miles. I have purchased and plan to replace the following Ford part numbers per the Ford workshop manual which contains the connector and downstream fuel line: PC3Z 9J280, LC3Z 9S278.
