Hi. I took my 2021 f250 6,7 to the ford dealership as it was having trouble starting, and just wasn’t running great. They changed the batteries, and told me it was a NOX sensor. So I went and got my truck to fix the sensors myself; because they wanted to charge me close to 3 grand. The next day I got up, lo and behold it wouldn’t crank. I had to have it towed back to the dealership. I tested codes before I had it towed, and took a video of it not cranking. The following codes showed. P2291 PCM - Injector Ctrl Press Too Low - Engine Cranking P2209 PCM - NOx Sens Heater Sense Circ Range/Perf Bank 1 Sens 1 U029D PCM - Lost Comm With NOx Sensor A P2535 PCM - Ignition Switch On/Start Pos Circ High U300A BCM - Ignition Switch It’s been in the shop a week , they called Friday saying it was starting, and there was nothing wrong with it. So I replied with all the codes, and told them there was definitely something going on. So they checked it again Monday and it wouldn’t start. Now today (aug 5 tues.) they say it may have a vacuum leak. Although non of the codes point to vacuum leak. I have no idea what to do now.

I hit an elk at 65 mph while pulling a flatbed trailer loaded with 4000 lbs of hay. The crash warning light did not come on nor did the air bags deploy. The whole front end of the truck is badly damaged. I contacted my local Ford dealer with this information and was told by the service agent that the body shop will handle this. As my concern is how hard do you have to hit something to get the airbags to deploy. I’m concerned for my safety while driving this truck again if it can be repaired. I’m taking it to the repair shop today. I wanted to report this as Ford will be ZERO help moving forward.

ON YOUR VEHICLE, IT MAY BE POSSIBLE FOR AGED BIODIESEL DEPOSITS TO ACCUMULATE IN THE HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP. THIS MAY RESULT IN EXTENDED CRANKING WITHOUT STARTING WHILE THE VEHICLE IS PARKED, OR LOSS OF MOTIVE POWER WHILE DRIVING. My vehicle has been inoperative for MONTHS due to this recall, per the manufacturer. We had no warning lights or problems prior to trying to start the vehicle and that failing. We took it to the manufacturer, and they said it was because of the recall. The recall date is Dec 20,2024 and it is now June 24, 2025. That is 6 months without a remedy. This is not being taken care of in a timely manner.

We were on the interstate and our truck had reduced power and then failed. The diesel particulate filter light came on as well as the service engine soon warning. We were hauling our 40 foot 5th on the way home from a trip. We were able to make it to the side of the road but it would not start. It would crank for a while then quit. We were stuck on a very busy/dangerous highway for over 2 hours waiting on a tow truck to get us. It cost $500 to be towed to the ford dealership 2 miles away. We were nearly 3 hours from home. Our truck and 5th wheel are both still at the dealership. We were told today that the fuel pump exploded leading to shards of metal throughout the system and that it would be $15000-18000 to repair. There isn’t a solution with the recall but it will be covered under our powertrain warranty. We are left without a truck and have no way to get our camper home until it’s repaired.

Engine loss of power - engine failure. My vehicle was serviced regularly with Ford dealership. Just weeks after an oil change at dealership I had sudden catastrophic engine failure. They found metal in my oil and stated my engine had failed due to faulty pump. I contacted ford dealership and customer service center, and they refused to repair as I was about 125864 miles (25k over warranty) on a truck they told me would last 400k with proper Maintenace. I have been making my monthly payments on this large paperweight and now there is a recall, and I still cannot get ford to repair the vehicle

The truck has developed a significant knock coming from the intake manifold. It is loud enough to hear with the hood closed. The problem exists warm and cold. The knock was verified by Sunrise Ford in Fontana, CA in December of 2024. The Dealership had another F250 on the lot with the same 6.2 engine and that it also has a knock coming from the intake manifold, so they considered the situation "normal". There is a significant amount of information available that the knock is related to an impending failure of the Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC). If the IRMC fails, the parts will go into the combustion area and could cause an immediate catastrophic failure of the engine. At best this problem creates a loss of power and a pulsing vibration at idle.

Drove straight to McRee Ford where the technician observed the issue firsthand. While the vehicle was in park it was constantly surging.
