The 2025 FORD F-150 HYBRID has 3 complaints and 2 recalls filed with NHTSA. Owners frequently report issues with excessive rust on exhaust components and a power train failure message resulting in loss of power.

Common Issues

  • Excessive rust. Rust accumulates abnormally on the exhaust filter, brackets, exhaust system, muffler, bolts, and screws shortly after purchase.
  • Power train failure. Vehicle displays a failure message followed by a loss of power, impacting drivability.

The truck has two recalls affecting electrical and safety systems. These recalls address risks related to sudden power loss and seat belt warning malfunctions.

Recalls

  • High voltage battery fuse. NHTSA recall 25V199000 affects 47 vehicles. An incorrect 60-amp fuse in the battery junction box may fail, causing sudden loss of drive power and increasing crash risk. Dealers replace the fuse with a 150-amp version at no charge.
  • Seat belt warning chime. NHTSA recall 25V489000 covers 56,473 vehicles. The audible chime for unbuckled front seat belts may fail, reducing occupant protection compliance. Dealers update the audio control module software free of charge.

Owners facing repeated repairs, unresolved recall issues, or safety defects may have rights under state lemon laws. Consulting with an attorney familiar with lemon law could be beneficial for affected consumers.
