Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2024-2025 F-150, Bronco, 2024 Ranger, 2025 Mustang, Explorer, and Aviator vehicles. The transmission valve body may have been machined incorrectly, which can cause reverse gear failure, or unexpected forward movement in reverse or neutral gear.

Risk: Unexpected vehicle movement increases the risk of a crash.

Soft top cable that secures stop top became loose or broke. Only opened the top 5-10 times. There is now i rattle and the top is not secure. This is horrible. I have found this mentioned mulitple online threads trying to figure out how to fix. This is obviously a manufacture defect. I bought the bronco in feb of 2025.

I received a recall notification letter from the manufacturer in January of this year concerning a critical safety issue. However, as of today’s date, the issue has not been resolved, nor have I received a clear timeline for repair. When I first purchased the vehicle, I noticed a pronounced bouncing sensation while driving at speeds around 70 mph. I brought this to the attention of the dealership, but they assured me that the vehicle was functioning normally and that there was nothing wrong. However, the existence of this unresolved recall has made me question whether the issue I experienced is truly unrelated—or if it was early evidence of a deeper safety concern. I feel unsafe driving the car, and no receiving any information about when the necessary parts or services will be available. This delay in action leaves my vehicle potentially unsafe and creates significant inconvenience, as I rely on it for daily transportation. I urge the NHTSA to investigate the prolonged delay in remedying this recall. Consumers deserve prompt and transparent resolution when their safety is at risk. Please advise on any further steps I should take to escalate this issue and keep me informed of any actions that may be taken. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

While vehicle was on a boat ramp the vehicle”s gear shift was put into the park position. The vehicle’s park gear failed to engage and it continued to roll backwards. Additional attempts to then put the vehicle into drive also failed to respond. My brand new 2024 Ford Bronco that only had just over 2300 miles on it, continued to roll backwards until it was completely submerged underwater. The vehicle had to be pulled out of the water by another truck!!! With my wife and children watching I was fortunate enough to escape without drowning!!!!

There’s been reported weakness in the back glass due to manufacturer defect in back window parked spontaneously shattered and window shocks shot through window, ford doesn’t have any current open recall but customer service says they have several people call with this, it’s being reported on the internet but again they won’t honor recall or manufacture warranty, I just bought this car a couple weeks ago

LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION

Side pillar is blocking view to see if a car is coming, side mirrors do not help. In order to accurately see, you have to completely turn your head to see if you can get over taking your eyes off of the road. This could result in a crash.

Headlights unable to produce enough heat to melt snow when driving in minor/major snow storms, causes the headlights to be very dull or apear to be not functioning.

Dealer sold us a brand new vehicle with an active recall. Recall# 25S01/25V025 which was released January 21st, 2025. We bought the vehicle [XXX]. There was ample time for the dealer to pull these vehicles from the lot and prevent them from being sold. I spoke with a Ford customer service representative (case# [XXX]) and was told this dealer sold several vehicles with this recall. SERVICE BRAKES

When towing the vehicle in neutral tow mode, while using a suplimental braking system in the bronco, the brakes changed from a not active "vacuum " state, to and Active "powered" state, causing the brakes to lock up on the bronco. This has happened on multiple occasions. Very dangerous and damaging.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Driving at 65 mph on an interstate highway the infotainment console suddenly shut down and then the entire vehicle lost acceleration and came to quick slow crawl. There was NO braking, accelerating or changing 2wd/4wd modes before this happened. This posed a safety hazard to driver behind me as I did not have time to apply the brake pedal, not sure if the brake lights would have worked anyways in afterthought. There were NO warning lamps, messages or any other symptoms of the problem prior to failure. It just instantly happened. The vehicle was driven with the slow crawl off the interstate to the nearest parking lot. The dealer was notified by phone immediately with no remediation. The vehicle was shut down completely and restarted after a few minutes. The infotainment console slowly turned on. This is the second time this has happened. The vehicle has been to the dealer's service center for both incidents. The dealer stated the 1st time it may be a bad battery but not sure. The 2nd time they did not see any error codes on their reader, and they left it at that. They could not replicate the safety hazard. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police or insurance representative. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request.

On Monday Jan 27 2025 i took my 2024 ford bronco in for routine maintenance and check up. Upon completion of these services my 2024 ford bronco was in terrific condition. Everything came back great they even coded it and it was good. By Wednesday [XXX] at [XXX] there was an issue with the Bronco it wouldn't detect the key fob it said no key detected on the dashboard. So I got my second key Fob and it also wasn't detected so then went to get new batteries for the key fob the car was not drivable at that time switched batteries twice still no detection. Called service at Rivertown ford to get assistance service person came to us because there was nowhere we could find the emergency fail safe that all the bronco of this year has since it's a push start button to start car. He did find the fail safe in the center console under the carpet and able to start car from there. Gary the service person told me it safe to drive back to rivertown service so they can find out what going on. Once in the service it was stated that it is radio transimission control module radio frequency failure. That it was ok to drive till they got part in. Didn't get half way home when a warning light came on that the tire pressure sensor failed so I took Bronco back immediately agian Gary service person told me it was safe to drive till they get the part ordered and in to service the Bronco. I called Ford corporation reported this issue with them Tei is the agent i spoke to from ford Corp. Case number is [XXX]. My concern is i have had plenty of vehicles in my lifetime and these services and mechanics tell you anything at times to justify the means a new car. I need to know it's safe to drive and if there is issues someone gonna pay attention take it seriously and fix it. The windows get stuck and won't completely role up. My car sometimes smells like plastic is burning 3. When i have the heat just on my feat it blows out of the defrost and not on my feet. I don't have defrost on just feet only

Since I purchased my vehicle I noticed that the left blinker would turn on sometimes when I put my right blinker on and made a right turn. Usually when you use your right blinker and make a right hand turn, as soon as your vehicle straightens out the blinker should then go off. Instead, this triggers the left blinker to turn on by itself. I am very concerned for my safety and my children's safety as others my think I am turning and I am not. I actually just got off the phone with the department and also got your email address, and will also email my concerns as well. This has been "attempted" to be fixed by Ford, and has been unsucessful. They currently do not have a "fix" for this safety problem. I purchased the bronco in july 2024 and has 10k miles on it.
