Recalls
  • Brake fluid reservoir cap. NHTSA recall number 22V536000 affects 23,555 vehicles including the 2016 FF. The cap may not vent properly, causing a vacuum and brake fluid leak that could lead to partial or total brake failure. A loss of brake function increases crash risk. • Passenger air bag inflator. NHTSA recall number 19V006000 covers 11,176 vehicles including the 2016 FF. The air bag inflator may explode during deployment due to propellant degradation from humidity and temperature cycling. This could cause metal fragments to strike occupants, leading to serious injury or death. Dealers replace the passenger air bag assembly free of charge. The recall began in 2019.

Owners dealing with repeated repairs or unresolved safety defects related to these recalls may have rights under their state’s lemon law. Consulting a qualified attorney can provide guidance on potential remedies.
