Recalls- Driver air bag module. NHTSA recall 15V433000 affects 814 vehicles. The driver side air bag module was improperly assembled, causing the air bag to deploy in a rotated orientation. This can increase injury risk during a crash. Dealers will replace the air bag module free of charge. No "Do Not Drive" or "Park Outside" advisory applies.
- Brake fluid reservoir cap. NHTSA recall 22V536000 affects 23,555 vehicles, including the 2015 FF. The brake fluid reservoir cap may fail to vent properly, creating a vacuum and causing brake fluid leaks. This defect risks partial or complete brake failure, increasing crash likelihood. Dealers will replace the cap and update software for low fluid warnings at no cost. No "Do Not Drive" or "Park Outside" advisory applies.
- Passenger air bag inflator. NHTSA recall 19V006000 impacts 11,176 vehicles. The passenger frontal air bag inflator may explode due to propellant degradation after exposure to humidity and temperature changes. Explosions can release metal fragments causing serious injury or death. Dealers will replace the air bag assembly free of charge. No "Do Not Drive" or "Park Outside" advisory applies.
Owners dealing with repeated repairs related to safety defects or unresolved recall issues should review their state’s lemon law protections. These laws may provide remedies for vehicles with persistent safety-related problems or multiple recalls requiring extensive repairs.
