Recalls
  • Brake fluid reservoir cap. NHTSA recall 22V536000 affects 23,555 vehicles. The brake fluid reservoir cap may not vent properly, creating a vacuum that causes leaks and potential brake function loss. This defect increases crash risk. Dealers will replace the reservoir cap and update software to add a low brake fluid warning free of charge.
  • Passenger air bag inflator. Under recall 19V006000, 11,176 vehicles have defective passenger air bag inflators. Propellant degradation from humidity and temperature cycling can cause the inflator to explode in a crash. This may expel metal fragments causing severe injury or death. Ferrari will replace the air bag assembly at no cost.
  • Air bag Electronic Control Unit (ECU). Recall 19V411000 involves 893 vehicles with possible air bag ECU malfunction. Defects may cause air bags or seat belt pretensioners to fail to deploy properly, increasing injury risk during a crash. Dealers will replace the ECU for free to correct the issue.

Owners dealing with repeated repairs or unresolved recall issues involving safety defects may have rights under their state’s lemon law. They should consider consulting legal resources for guidance on potential remedies.
